Great battery but the appeal drains from there.

I’ve had the Amazon Halo View Fitness tracker for about a week now. So far I’m impressed with battery life. I have owned 3 different smart watches in the past few years and the longest I can go without charging one is 2 maybe 3 days straight. With the Amazon Halo I have gone about 5 days without any issues (normal usage). This is a big plus.
Overall is a pretty basic fitness trackers. Not a lot of customization or options. Connecting to my Iphone was easy.
There are a few things I didn’t like about the Halo that really kill it for me. First the way the tracker is wore on my wrist, its upside down and awkward. Just doesn’t feel right. Second is the “pay wall”. The app says the first 12 month features on the app on free and after you have pay a monthly fee. To me that doesn’t seem right and a big turn off.

Overall solid headphone. Great for working outside around the house. I definitely “hear” the difference when wearing these headphone. “OK” fit for my ears. I tried all the different ear pieces couldn’t find one that fit my ear perfectly but the medium was ok. I guess im not sure to the foam materials. Connecting to my phone was pretty simple. These are an exceptional value.

Spend a little money on yourself and get really clean teeth. The Philip Sonicare 4100 Power Toothbrush gets your teeth clean like you went to the dentist. I like the small head brush because it can get to hard to reach spots in my month. Couple of knocks on this: comes with a USB charging base which is weird and replacement heads can be expensive (but that’s true on all electronic tooth brushes). This wont change me from recommending this to friends

Very easy and quick installation. Digital interface makes it super easy to read the air quality indicator light and navigate the different functions on the purifier. LOVE the sleep mode. Turns all thre lights off and is very quiet to sleep through. The only thing I noticed was a very stark noise level difference between settings 2 and 3– where setting 2 is still very quiet (almost too quiet) and setting 3 whirls pretty loud.

“Smart” has been a term used a lot lately. Anything “smart” just connects to the internet is able to use google assistant, alexa or siri voice to control the device. To me its not really that smart, its just an alarm clock.
Overall setup was pretty easy to connect with my home network. Once you are connected to google home network everything else is easy. Took a little work to get my google photos to rotate on the display but was able too. Audio quality is pretty good for an alarm clock.
From a product stand point, the Lenovo clock is 4in touch screen but you can get a “7in device” that support does the same functions for all little bit more money. I can understand some may want a smaller device next to their beds.
Overall I would recommend the Lenovo Smart Clock 2 but buyers should know what they are getting.

Quality Packaging Amazing Earbuds

I knew the Soundcore Ear buds would be great once I opened the box/packaging. Typically manufacture skip out or cut corners when it comes to packaging. I am extremely impress with how the box opens up and the different inner and outer ear pieces are laid out.
The Soundcore Ear buds come with 4 different ear pieces. You can definitely find the right fitting with the different selection. The sound quality is superior. I couldn’t tell the difference between my other more expensive wireless ANC inner ear buds and the Soundcore Ear buds.
I’ve been using these for over a week now. Around the house with crying and scream kids. ( the ANC work well). At the gym, running, jumping, basketball, and lifting weights. The ear buds felt secure and never fell out.
Definitely recommend these to my friends. They are a better alternative to the more expensive brands out there.

Its Magic no its a Pixel

I consider myself a tech savvy person. I have a my lights, TVs, cameras, garage, air filters, consoles, laptops, Ipads, tablets etc all connected together. I’ve also had the luxury of owning a lot of different phones (HTC ONE, 10 and u11, Pixel 3, One Plus 7 Pro, Iphone 4,6,8,MAX Xs, Microsoft Surface Duo). Different phones had its pros and cons. I like the openness of the Android OS (HTC/OnePlus) but I felt the camera was always lacking. Iphones have the same layout and easy to use cameras. The Pixel 6 is a phone I was truly exciting to try out. Anyways,
Look and feel
Personally, I don’t mind the camera bar bump. The two tone color is a nice touch. The back has a glass like feeling that you would get from a $1000 cell phone. I am going to purchase a case for the Pixel ( to protect it when I drop it). So really the look of the case is what your phone would really look like in the end. I am more concern with the performance and usage of the Pixel than the look. One annoying thing is the Google search bar is locked in the bottom of the home screen. YOU CAN NOT REMOVE it. GOOGLE needs to fix this.

Setup process
Pretty straight forward. Transfer my old data and information from my other device (Android 11). Cable transfer didn’t work for me despite trying 3 times. Just use wireless transfer and worked. The phone needed to download an update to Android 12 took about 30 mins to download and install.

Search function
I think this is a kind of a cool feature. You have search your phone apps, contacts and settings in the search function.

Fingerprint sensor
Takes about half a second to a second to recognize my fingerprint and open the phone. Its about the same as my other phones. Nothing special about this.

I can see how useful this tool will be for me and the family. Even previous picture that are stored in the Google photo can be edit by the Pixel 6. This is a great feature and I can see Google using this technology on their other devices.
I have used the Motion / action take pretty nice pictures, Long Exposure, Face Unblur (pretty good, but not perfect), 4x zoom still grainy, Ultrawide selfies (not
really ultrawide compared to others ive seen before). Overall I am pretty happy with the Pixel 6. At $599 it’s a great deal for what you get.

Below is the “real” world testing for fast charging. On both test the Pixel 6 got warm in the case but not burning hot. Under 50% full you are looking at 12%-14% battery fill per 10mins of charging.

Be a hero with the kids

The Twinkly Smart Light Tube made me a hero with my kids. RBG color LED lights act as a night light for their room. They love the fun designs and decided on the tree.
Its a great idea to light up any room in your house. Syncing to my phone was easy and designing the tree was easy as well. Just follow the template on the instruction given.

Never knew I needed it

I’ve been using $50 to $100 electric shaver and its getting the job done. However, after using the Philip Norelco 9500 I am not turning back.
There is a premium feel and weight to the Norelco. I get a really close and smooth shave in half the time it took me with other shavers. The light on the Norelco 9500 shows if you are applying too much (Orange) or too pressure little (blue) and just right (Green)
I am not use to spending $200 plus for a shaver but Its worth the investment if you or someone you know shaves every day.

Beauty, function and the battery

This is great looking watch, bright crisp screen. Walking around when the watch screen is on it looks like a citizen type watch.
Overall function of the citizen smart watch is what you expect on any smart watch. Heart rate, steps, GPS, accelerometer, etc. works wells. Connecting the Citizen watch to my phone did take some time but nothing to worry about.
The battery life is where this watch can improve. I’ve been using it for about 10 days now and I have to charge it every night. I consider myself not a heavy user so this is disappointing.
Hard to recommend this watch to my friends because of the battery life.

Just to be clear, I can download any other apps correct? If so I do not need a ROKU stick?
Cant download apps, but has alot of apps preinstalled.. Missing HBO max and Sling TV. You can Cast from your phone and works well. Personally i like the option of deleting and downloading apps.

There is no protective glass for the screen. You have to purchase it separately. Some protective film is better than others.
