Go buy the Vizio SB3820-C6. It' under $100 for the soundbar by itself and you get more sound for the buck. The 38" Vizio is the same soundbar they use in their more expensive packages except they add more or less speakers in whatever package they offer. I read the reviews on this and didn't want to spend a ton on a new soundbar when I just bought a new TV. I already had a subwoofer and thought this would be fine to use with that. Boy was I wrong....this is just a hair better then the TV speakers. If you want a soundbar that barely does the job then this is the sound bar for you. If you want something a little better without breaking the bank then get the Vizio SB3820-C6. I was really unhappy with my purchase, returned this, and got the Vizio from somewhere else. If you do get the Vizio you have to get the one I mentioned as that "3" in the product number is really important....it has a "third" speaker specifically for "voices." Makes a world of difference, plus it uses my passive subwoofer significantly better then the Insignia did.

Best 4K entry TV.....

So I have been waiting to write this review. I searched a long time, read many online reviews from different sites, and bought this TV about 2 weeks ago. Simply put, you're not going to find a better sub $500 TV. Maybe I will feel differently a year from now but right now I am very happy with my purchase. You get a lot of options and a crisp clear picture right out of the box. The ONLY thing that bothers me a tad (which I have rectified some by playing with the controls) is that there is a tad of a blackness/contrast issue but it's not terrible enough to warrant not buying this TV. You will also need to buy a sound bar FYI as all flat screen speakers are not very good.
