I had fun with this movie, but it falls short of its potential; and this release does not help. It feels like we're missing expository scenes that would help fill out the plot.

The sequel is not as good as the first, but both are entertaining. Downey and Law are a good pair. Come on guys, give us at least one more!

Some viewers may find the pacing to be a bit slow and the 'resolution' to be frustrating, but I continually find the movie to be gorgeous and haunting.

The "Mimic" director's cut attempts to recover as much of Del Toro's original vision for the film as is now possible. Although it remains a flawed film (Del Toro's weakest), it also showcases many of the director's signature stylistic and thematic motifs which does make it not only watchable but re-watchable. The special features, including commentary by Del Toro, makes this disc even better!

"Willow" is a great movie! It's filled with interesting characters (especially well-acted by Warwick Davis and Val Kilmer), exciting set-pieces, and an amazing score by James Horner.
