A Beautiful Cast, Setting and Film

Wow, I wasn't sure what to expect but my wife wanted to see a rom-com one night so we saw Bitter/Sweet at a festival and were very pleased.

Everything from the actors to the setting were beautiful, the directing and acting were spot on - we believed what everyone was saying, feeling and they all looked to part as well. Kip Pardue was good and Borlin too, we did not expect the film to end the way it did. And we felt the connection between the two main characters and the movie made us want to not only go to Thailand but drink the coffee.

So if you like coffee, Thailand or just rom-coms - see this film as you will no regret it.

What's great about it: Everything

What's not so great: Nothing

Very smart and interesting film - check it out

Hello, I normally don't write reviews but want to for this film as it did not get much press. It is a shame, it should have as it is a very well made, smart drama political thriller.

Trade Routes offers many viewers something they need to know and need to think about.

But this film is worth checking out as the acting was good, the directing was good, the film looked amazing - perhaps due to the locations - but it did really look well.

This type of film makes you question many things and it is must see so please check it out ASAP, thanks.

Excellent Well Made Thriller

Well made thriller and must see for all. Was very surprised when I checked this movie out, a friend who had lost a friend to a kidnapping in Mexico said this movie tells it best. My friend's friend was never found, it is very sad that this happens and how often. I am sorry to everyone who has had this happen, not that it means much but I understand and I hope good news comes soon.

But for those who want to see a good film, check this out as the film looks great, the acting is spot on as well as the directing as you believe what everyone doing and saying. The locations are spot on, helps you believe the story. Very impressed, that is why I am writing a review as it is an indie that needs to be seen.

What's not so great: Nothing

Amazing Film - Red Shoe Diaries meets Ghosts

I recently saw this film and was blown away, not only does it look amazing but the talent in the film is dead on and the acting is perfect. You really feel their pain and love, great cast and directing.

I will admit the women in the film are beautiful and I did not mind the many s*x scenes and n*dity. I can't believe this film is not cable TV or something late at night.

But again, this is a film worth checking out as it has it all - acting, name talent, directing, s*x, n*dity, ghosts, thrills, drama, you name it this film has it.

You must go out and get this film, rent, buy it - do it however you want but is a good interesting film.

My wife loves rom-coms and I don't really, but she talked me into seeing this film and I was happy she did.

The film starts off pretty normal but picks up and you find yourself in love with the characters and laughing and crying at what they go through. I have some friends that are married and inter-racial - they still get comments and looked at weird. Love is Love and Love is blind, this film will hopefully make everyone see that and Love is blind.

But again, very good film and must see rom-com - acting, directing, everything was spot on - great job.

Also, I saw Bitter/Sweet - another nice rom-com.

The Unmoved Mover [DVD] [2008]

Unmoved Mover - Very cool and s*xy film

I got this film not knowing what to expect, and as I watched I still wasn't sure where the film was going or what it was about - but as the film went on it drew me in and I was hooked for the ride.

After awhile I understood the plot and I'm sure more mature viewers will from the get go - but wow, this foreign film has it all. It has a very beautiful woman in it and you get to see all of her, you really do. And her acting, I mean you feel whatever is happening to her is happening to her - method acting. Films like this get looked over, but she should have been nominated for a Oscar or something.

But if you want a cool, s*xy, creepy film like S*x Lies & Videotape, Crash, Red Shoe Diaries, David Lynch or a Q. Tarrento film - get this move - it is a great, s*xy ride.

Excellent Well Made Film, the acting, the directing were spot on.

A must see film, very thrilling, cool and sexy. Nice work, thank you!

The film starts off one way then ends up something else, very creepy and you wonder if the person inside the teenagers closet is real or not, and when you find he is real and he is a criminal on loose - then he befriends the teenagers mother - WOW!

What a hot mess, very creepy and cool. This film should have been notminated for something, best foreign film for the Oscars - the acting by the teenager was amazing, she should have been nominated. There are many films with such strong acting performances that don't get noticed, I'm not sure why.

I would suggest anyone who likes cool, creepy, sexy thrillers to check out this film. I also saw a film called Unmoved Mover and realized it was from the same company Mystic Pictures; they have some good films.
