One of the most critically acclaimed titles ever made returns, this time with the stunning realism of glasses-free 3D visuals. In The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Link embarks on a heroic adventure through time to prevent Ganondorf from seizing the ultimate power granted by the Triforce. Solve puzzles, travel through the expansive land of Hyrule and more as you explore this immersive world on your epic quest. Will you be able to put a stop to the Gerudo King of Thieves before he can reach this holy relic? The Nintendo 64 classic, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, returns with amazing 3D visuals and a compete graphical overhaul to bring Hyrule to life. Explore the immersive world, solve puzzles, travel through time and more on your adventure to stop Ganondorf from seeking the Triforce, a holy relic that grants its holder ultimate power. Retaining the analog control of the original with the 3DS' Circle Pad, Ocarina of Time 3D improves the ease of use with a touch-based inventory system for swift and simple item switching. Use the 3DS' gyro sensor to take advantage of the camera-controlled first-person shooting. I played this on N64, GameCube and I'm playing it again on the 3DS - it's still thoroughly enjoyable. It is not a direct port - the graphics have been improved significantly. Players new to the franchise or just the game will have a blast. Controls are easy and seamless - controlling the bow using the gyro is perfect.
My one complaint is that the button layout for the ocarina is changed - needlessly, perhaps. I had some muscle memory of the ocarina songs - it's all gone. Happily, you can quickly play any song straight from a single touchscreen menu.
What's great about it: 3D works easily and perfectly
What's not so great: Ocarina button layout change

It's time to prepare your strategy and get your kart ready to race across the dusty desert course. The competition with be tough, but you've equipped your kart with giant tires so you can expertly careen through the off-road track. Racing takes strategy, customization and of course, skill and you have everything it takes to win the race and become a champion of Mushroom Kingdom. The race is on and the excitement of Mario Kart is back and now in stunning 3D on your Nintendo 3DS with Mario Kart 7. Reach new heights as your kart soars over track shortcuts with a special wing and plunges into the sea with a propeller. Customize your vehicle with accessories to suit the track, whether it be big tires for off-road tracks or small tires for city courses. Race as your Mii or one of your favorite Mushroom Kingdom characters, and take on exciting courses over a mountain road, through city streets, across a dusty desert, around new courses on Wuhu Island and in the jungles from Donkey Kong Country Returns. Compete with up to eight racers for fierce competition with your friends or other players around the world. The race is on.
