Good Stove

This stove was bought to replace a very similar model that had started to fail. The larger burners provide a choice of using all or only part of the burner coils, which is a plus. The convection oven is also a great feature. I am looking forward to using the Aqua-lift feature, but cannot comment on it yet.
The only complaint I have so far is about the drawer under the oven. On my old stove the drawer was easily twice as tall as the one on this unit. This one can hold one broiling pan and that's about it. Seems a poor design choice with no good reason why it couldn't be taller. Other than that, I am very happy with this stove.
As a side note, I had a very hard determining the finish on this stove. The floor model at my BestBuy was black with a stainless finish on the oven door and drawer, and also surrounding the knobs and buttons on the backsplash. The pictures on BestBuy's website of the white stoves and the stainless stoves look practically identical, and I could find no info from BestBuy or the Whirlpool site stating whether the white model also had stainless in these areas. All of my other appliances are white, and I went ahead and ordered this model since it had all the features I wanted in my price range. I was very pleased upon delivery to find that the white model of this stove is ALL white with no stainless to be found. Now I don't have to battle the endless fingerprints!

What's great about it: Multiple burner sizes, Oven heats up quickly, Very large oven window
What's not so great: Useless drawer under oven

Two things first:
1) I would have used no stars if that were allowed
2) I am very happy with the dishwasher
I purchased a dishwasher through Best Buy when they were offering installation for $19.99. Normally, I would have opted to install it myself, but for the price I decided to save some time and aggravation by having it installed. I was wrong on both counts, but that is another story...
The Kit in question was added to my purchase and I was told that it was required in order to have the installation done professionally. Between purchase and delivery, I looked at other reviews of this Kit and discovered many other users who were disgruntled over the price of this item and the fact that it is a mandatory purchase in order to have the installation done. I also discovered (thankfully) that several others had discovered during their installation that this Kit (which is supposed to provide everything needed) did not in fact include some items that THEY needed, and so they were forced to pay an additional amount charged by the installers. Some reported that the installers did not actually use any of the parts of this Kit in their installation, but they still were charged for it.
My old dishwasher was installed using flexible copper pipe which was still in excellent condition, but the installer claimed that he could not complete the new installation using this copper pipe- he had to cut off the pipe, install an adapter, and use a flexible braided hose to attach it to the dishwasher. The only problem was, the Kit did not include the adapter, and he wanted $30 to get the part and install it for me. When asked why he couldn't use the existing pipe, he claimed that using it would violate the warranty on the dishwasher. I am not a contractoror a plumber, but I am still trying to figure out how copper plumbing could void a warranty. Is the flexible copper plumbing outside the wall somehow different from the copper pipes inside my walls? Fortunately (sort of), the first installer was unable to complete the installation, so I had time to go to my local hardware store where I purchased the same adapter for less than $6. When the second installer showed up hours later, he could tell that I was upset about this whole fiasco, so he wisely volunteered to provide the adapter at no extra charge (otherwise, I would have insisted that he use the one I had purchased myself).
So, bottom line- I was required to buy this Kit for $30, and the only part used from it for my installation was a braided hose which I could have bought for less than $10. I also had to get a separate part which the makers of the Kit did not think was necessary to include. I have a hard time believing that there are so few installations using copper piping that this adapter is not usual.
I am very disappointed that Best Buy sells such an overpriced and unneeded accessory, and requires it to be purchased in order to supposedly validate a warranty. The only conclusion I can draw for his tactic is that they see this as an easy way to pad the bottom line.
In hindsight, I wish I had done the installation myself. I could find nothing in the manufacturer's instructions, or in Best Buy's warranty information which states that this Kit is required. I wonder- if I had installed it without using this Kit, would they really have not honored their warranty???

What's not so great: Overpriced and completely unnecessary item

I bought these for my teenage granddaughter because she does not like earbuds. She uses them daily and seems to like them. I put them on the other day to briefly listen to something, and was surprised by how good they sounded. The depth and clarity of sound was better than I expected from an inexpensive set of headphones. Overall, we are both happy with this purchase. I did not give 5 stars for durability because she has only had them for a few weeks.

Most Important to Purchase:Sound quality
How Often Used:Daily
I use my earbuds 40-50 hours/week at work in a very noisy factory, and I am on my feet and moving the entire time. I own a cheaper ($30) pair of Sony earbuds which I have used daily for 8+ months and they still work fine, but the wires have become so brittle they are no longer comfortable. I recently bought a pair of Skullcandy 50/50s which provided much better sound (with unfortunately a LOT more bass), and a handy control for my iPod, but they only lasted 4 weeks before breaking a wire. I did extensive research online before buying these, and I believe represent the best combination of quality and value for my use.
After two weeks of use, listening to audiobooks and a wide variety of music, my first impression is "Wow!" The sound is amazing. In some reviews I read, the user reported hearing things they "hadn't heard before", which I dismissed until I experienced it for myself, and on songs which I have heard dozens of times. If you are just interested in getting lots of bass, these are probably not the headphones for you. You will have a hard time getiing the bass to rattle your fillings short of also blowing out your eardrums. What you will get is a clear, rich, and full representation of ALL the sounds in your music, with the bass and drums very present but not overpowering. These headphones also provide passive noise cancellation, and they do a great job. I am able to listen to quiet accoustic tracks on my iPod with the volume at less than 50% while working, and the very noisy machinery nearby just fades into the background. The wires to the earpieces are designed to be worn over the ears, which almost completely eliminates "microphonics": the transfer of noise to the ears when the wires are jostled, rubbed against clothing, etc.
I am impressed with the look and feel of the twisted wires used on these headphones. Since the wires were the source of my dissapointment with previous headphones, I hope these will prove to be as durable as they appear. Time is the only real way to measure this, so I will plan to update this post if they do not measure up.
With an MSRP of $75, this purchase was somewhat of a leap of faith for me, as it is an inherently fragile item which I am taking into a rather hostile environment, and even with proper care I know these will not last forever. With that mindset, I do not see myself ever paying for a real high-end set of headphones, but I would be surprised if anything at 2 to 3 times the price could give me 2 to 3 times better sound reproduction than these. I do believe that this is a fine set of quality headphones at a very reasonable cost-to-value ratio. The only thing I feel is missing from the design is an inline control for my iPod, but this is merely a "want" for me and not something the manufacturer included, so I do not think it would be fair to deduct any points from my rating
A few observations for anyone who purchases these headphones.
1) It is ESSENTIAL that you use the right eartips for your ears. MEElectronics provides 5 different sizes/styles, and it is a good idea to try them all to find the best fit. I started out with the size that I thought was right, and my music sounded much better than I was used to, but I noticed that some songs seemed to lack enogh bottom end. When I changed to a different set of tips and got a proper fit, the sound was nothing short of amazing.
2) The eartips must be inserted correctly to achieve the proper "seal". The wire wraps over the ear from behind, leaving the bud hanging just in front of the ear canal. The bud should be held there by one hand while the opposite hand reaches over the head, grasps the top of the ear and stretches it upward, opening the ear canal. With the canal opened, the eartip is inserted into the ear canal and given a slight twist as the top of the ear is released
What's great about it: Great sound, Excellent value, Quality materials
What's not so great: Nothing so far (but I do miss an inline control for my iPod...)

I bought these to replace a $30 pair of Sony's whose wires had become so brittle they were no longer comfortable. I have not owned Skullcandy before, but decided to give these a try based on price ($50 earbuds for $28), mostly positive reviews, and the flat ribbon cable. They also have a limited lifetime warranty, which I assumed reflected a higher degree of quality. I wear my earbuds 40-50 hours/week at work, and while I don't consider myself hard on my earbuds, I need them to be durable enough to withstand constant movement while being worn over long periods of time. These headphones did not last 4 weeks before one of the wires broke where it comes out of the jack. For comparison, my Sony's are still working after more than 8 months of use in the same conditions. The raised Skullcandy logo on the silicon gel buds also bothered my ear canals. I returned these to exchange for another set, but they have been clearanced out (hence the low price), and I didn't trust Skullcandy's quality enough to pay full price for a a pair in black. I went wth a different manufacturer which uses a twisted cable sysem, hopefully it is better suited to my needs.
What's great about it: Good sound (although bass-heavy), iPod control
What's not so great: Durability, comfort

Review Update
April 8, 2013
I used these headphones for approximately 3 months before the wire coming out of the headphone jack failed. I would have posted this update sooner, but I could not find the product on BestBuy.com.
I would still highly recommend this product for its sound quality, but only for someone who is stationary during most of their listening, or who can protect the connection between their device and the headphones. I am currently using Philips "the Tread" earbuds (discontinued at Best Buy) which I tried because they have a MASSIVE L-shaped jack and Y joint on the cables and so far they are holding up just fine (after about three months), but they are not nearly as comfortable as the MEElectonics A-151. Man, do I miss the sound I got from these headphones.
