Overpriced but an improvement

The controller is definitely overpriced but it does seem to be better quality than the PS3 controllers (Regular and Dual Shock 3). Obviously, only time can tell but there are improvements to it that seems will increase its usage. Most grooves on the controller are now minimized. The two halves of the controller that come together during construction has changed position and the space between them now smaller. Certain small indentations where the pads are have been reduced. Controllers get dirty and grimy and often times it gets trapped between these spaces or collects along the indents. For example, the 360 controller has the space of a toothpick along the edges that traps dirt. I don't know how long the middle touch pad will survive but hopefully it doesn't lose its function or effectiveness over time.
My Best Buy number: 2719961092
What's great about it: An improved design and intuitive new touch controls
What's not so great: Priced as much as a video game
I would recommend this to a friend!

A forced buy for PS4 owners

I'm quite disappointed Playstation (SONY) decided to go this route with the PS4, requiring subscription. For many years, I've played both PS3 and 360 online and I have to say that there is little difference whether you are subscribed or not in terms of a better network or connection with other individuals. Although I'm not a fan of downloading demo's/full games, I do agree that Playstation offers a lot more in incentives for a better gaming experience. It's somewhat understandable since it costs them millions to improve and maintain their servers/applications. I enjoyed playing online for free while it lasted.

What's great about it: Not much except for free DL's
What's not so great: Requirement for PS4 Online Play

Not that intuitive but not that bad...

I've owned and played every Call of Duty franchise and I have to say that most people's expectations of COD are too high. I have seen nothing but negativity thus far; but I believe we all should just take a step back and take it for what it's worth.
In terms of multiplayer, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." It's true that it contains similar gameplay as the MW series but then again, what was ever wrong with MW? They've added more weapons, larger + more detailed maps with different terrains, a more enjoyable leveling system IMO, and more customization. I can attest that respawning is still an issue and that the sound of weapons is not that great.
But if you expect something new, something 'similar' to what's already in other games, why not just play that instead? Disposable environments, weather effects, wind projectory, vehicles, custom maps, etc. Of course those things would be a nice addition but I would prefer improvements rather than a bad impersonation and I believe that in itself speaks as a brand.
I am a frequent gamer and do not intend to offend anyone. Thanks.
What's great about it: Multiplayer
What's not so great: Story line is sub-par
