Big nice image

I've been waiting for quite some time for more Oled brands to come out and when Sony, my favorite TV brand launched their Oled, I could not believe the price tag, it is just too much money for a TV. I can afford it but would never spend so much on a TV. During a visit to best buy, I saw this Sony 75" TV and it immediately caught my attention, mainly when watching this 75" right next to another Sony higher end 4K and LG's Oled both 65". The picture and size blew me away. Is Oled still at the top? Yes definitely, however LCDs are getting pretty darn close. You have to look for the differences, mainly when watching regular content, instead of the stunning marketing images that stores display. I compared these 3 TVs for quite some time and went back to the store a couple more times before pulling the trigger.
The colors on this TV are just incredible, so well balanced and precise with dark and even black level. The 75" size is just gorgeous and so much bigger compared to a 65".
After installing it at home and watching content from various sources I couldn't be happier. This TV does a spectacular job upscaling everything. If a movie was made with high quality it really shines and looks 4K. I can immediately tell the difference between a high quality movie vs a production that is not top notch. This was not so noticeable on my previous TV. The movies and TV shows look crisp, clear and colorful. The HDR, when available, just brings real life out of the images, making a big difference from non HDR content, is so vivid looking that it makes more realistic than 3D, in my opinion. My previous TV has 3D and we used to watch all movies at the theater in 3D for a while, but we care less for it nowadays. I'm really looking forward for more HDR to become available.
The size, o man, it's a big difference from my Sony 65" 1080P, awakening the movie theater feel at home. Sony just can't be beat with the colors, picture accuracy and vivid details.
The TV also greatly integrates with the receiver, I no longer have issues with the TV sometimes not switching to external speakers.
The only part that I found weak was the Smart TV. The Android interface is not user friendly, can't be customized and is pretty slow. The picture on Amazon video was of lowest quality. I care less for it since all my streaming is done with the XBox that provides highest picture and sound quality and sometimes Apple TV. I compared streaming Netflix on both, Smart TV and XBox, and everything was just so much better coming from the X Box. My family room is pretty wide and the image degradation off center is negligible, at least in mine and my wife's opinion, being definitely less noticeable than the previois TV.
The price benefit of this TV, mainly now that it is on sale for less than 2,600, makes it a great bang for the buck. The bigger size, cristal clear picture, color accuracy, nice black level and build quality just sold me over a smaller Oled. For all of us, kids included, the bigger is really better in this case.

Bosch is simply the best

When we built our house made the mistake buying a Monogram dishwasher. We also have a fridge, which is good but not great, at least it works properly. After several years of frustration with the Monogram dishwasher, and after replacing it under warranty once, we took no chance and bought the Bosch 800.
The installation guys replaced the dishwasher within 20 minutes leaving everything clean and organized after installing, can't tell this from every installer. The kit that they made us buy was useless and returned it to the store. The Bosch washes perfectly, it is now rather rare that a dish is not perfectly clean, could not tell the same before. We do not pre wash anything, all dishes go in very dirty and come out shiny clean. It is ultra quiet, wouldn't know it was running if it wasn't for the red light on the floor. Now we can really use the dishwasher daily and are no longer frustrated with dirty dishes. There are certainly other good dishwashers out there but if you want the best go with Bosch.

The Best LCD Out There

I just replaced a Sharp Q+ with this TV because it was not good enough. This TV has everything right, the colors are beautiful, the picture is awesome, the resolution is great, even with lower quality materials, and the black levels are the best I have seen on LCDs.
Looking for an incredible picture TV with lots of settings, and not ready to go for 4K just yet, then this is the TV for you. Unfortunately the lack of 4K content, 2.0 HDMI, 60 frames per second, and inability to stream UHD are deal killers for currently available UHD TVs that cost a lot more for a technology that is not there yet. I found wiser to invest my money on a new great HDTV instead. When comparing at the store I could not really tell the difference between this TV and a UHD when watching HD content, upscaling can improve a little but doesn't make wonders. Also depending on the viewing distance the difference is negligible.
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: Wish they had a 70" size

Great with Bluray not so good with everything else

I was very excited to get this higher definition TV. Out of the box the colors were off. After adjusting the regular and advanced settings movies like Avatar would look great, with impressive resolution, however colors such as skin tones were still off, looking fake or washed out, depending on the wettings. After contacting Sharp and after a number of email exchanges, I thought it was enough. Today I just got the Sony KDL65W850A, and can only tell that the colors, resolution and picture are what I was expecting from the Sharp TV. Even the black levels are comparable to plasma with the whites and clarity of LCDs. Sony's resolution may not be on par with Sharp, but when watching TV from 6-10 it will be hardly noticeable, whereas the picture on the Sharp TV did really disappoint me. I believe this had the potential to be a top rated best seller for this year, while 4K is still a work in progress. The other fatal issue for me was the grainy or bad resolution when watching regular HD TV channels, whit perhaps not the best resolution. If you only use this TV for gaming, Bluray or good quality materials and don't care so much about color accuracy, then go for it.
What's great about it: Definition, resolution
What's not so great: Colors are off, unnatural

Poor picture quality, good brightness

Dear TV buyers, for those of you comparing Sony and Samsung, I bought both 850e and 8000 models, and Samsung is light years ahead in terms of picture quality. Procuring 850e as a replacement for 8000 was a serious downgrade. Had GeekSquad taking it back to the store. Stay away.
