Joel and Ethan Coen's screwball comedy Intolerable Cruelty, the first film they have ever made that did not originate with them, comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1, and does a fabulous job of capturing the film's bright color scheme. English, French, and Spanish soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, and a second English soundtrack is accessible in DTS 5.1. French and Spanish subtitles are accessible, and English captions are optional. Supplemental materials include a humorous blooper reel personally approved by Joel Coen, a ten minute making-of featurette containing interview clips with the brothers as well as stars George Clooney and Catherine Zeta-Jones, and a featurette concerning the work that went into the film's excellent costume design. This is a solid release from Universal.

A good chuckle
on April 22, 2008

This movie started out funny and easily kept my attention. Closer to the end of the movie, I was not as intrigued and thought the movie took a turn from comical to just plain silly. I liked it enough to not be dissatisfied seeing it, but I would not watch it again.
What's great about it: All star cast
What's not so great: Gets too silly

Great Movie

I was pleased with this movie and was not expecting the suspense of it. Leonardo DiCaprio dispays a stunning performance. This movie captures the greed and desperation of people for wealth. While in retrospect, the disparity of those that are poor on a level that is incomparable to what we could ever imagine.

Not what I expected

I think Katt Williams is the funniest comedian out right now, but I was not happy with this movie. I tried to watch it, but it just was not funny like his stand up and I turned it off. Maybe it gets better, but for the portion that I saw, I was not happy.

Great Buy

This is such a great gift pack. It came in a little box shaped like the IPS truck. Nine seasons are in this pack and it is a great buy compared others. This show is hilarious and easy to watch over and over.

This was a great sequel from the first Bad Boys. Martin and Will have teamed up again with the same good cop/bad cop humor to get the job done. I love the car chase! This part kept me on the edge of my seat.

I laughed endlessly watching this movie. This was the old Jim Carrey I remember. I loved the part where he stole the grass. I would recommend this to anyone that loves Jim Carrey or that has a 401k!

Great for home or office
on December 3, 2007

This headset is perfect for home or office if you are not tied to your desk working. You have the ability to move freely while having a conversation. It gets a pretty good range as well. You can set it up to where you can answer the phone from anywhere within range. The only bad thing is there is no way to screen calls like this because you are away from the receiver. The worst part of the headset is after a couple months of use, the lift for the phone gets worn down and I have lost calls because of this. It takes some adjusting every now and then to keep ut from happening.

FAve Alicia Keys CD

This is a great album and shows how much she has matured and developed as an artist. Her songs are filled with her passion and it resonates throughout the cd. I am glad to have bought this and hope she continues to make beautiful music.

Eddie Murphy stars in the raunchy romantic comedy Boomerang. The film is presented in 1.85:1 widescreen and looks passable, if not great. The black levels often sport a grayness to them while a small amount of edge enhancement crops up from time to time. Otherwise, this is a decent looking print with accurate flesh tones and sharp color patterns. The soundtrack is presented in a newly remixed Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track in English. This is a more than adequete sound mix that sports a few new directional sounds (especially whenever the R&B tinged music pops up). All aspects of the mix are free and clear of any excessive hiss or distortion. Also included on this disc is a Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround soundtrack in English as well as English subtitles. Only two extra features are included on this DVD -- a commentary track by director Reginald Hudlin and a few deleted/extended scenes with optional commentary by the director. The commentary track with the director is low-key and filled with some mildly informative facts on the making of the film while the deleted/extended scenes don't offer much in the way of characterization or plot filler. Oddly, no theatrical trailer has been included on this disc.

Must Have Classic
on November 8, 2007

I bought this movie just because it was cheap and had forgotten how funny the movie was. The movie starred Halle Berry early in her career. She was a Plain Jane in this movie and was overshawdowed by the over made up, weave queen, Robin Givens. This movie has Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, Martin Lawrence, David Allen Greer, Lela Rachon, Grace Jones, and more...an all-star cast before they were big stars. This is a classic movie to have in your collection. I love to see Eddie Murphy as a player and get a dose of his own medicine!

Best R&B cd out
on October 29, 2007

I loved this cd. I did not buy her first cd because the song Love was played out until the point I didn't like it. This cd makes up for all the heavy rotation. Keyshia Cole seems to have picked up where Mary J left off before she goot happy. You can hear all the pain in her music. I can feel her hurt and I can relatte to what she is singing about. This cd is definitely worth buying.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE XBOX 360 arcade and the pro

The arcade does not have the hard drive. You will have to buy it separately. It has 256 mb and is usually bundled with some games. The pro has 20 or 60 GB depending on where you get it from. The 20GB is not sold in most stores anymore.
