Works as it should

This is a simple device, not a whole lot to say about it. I just got an iPhone 7 Plus and had a few chances to use it. It works flawlessly allowing me to charge my phone while listening to music or podcasts. Fortunately there is not a lot that can go wrong with this device, it either works or it does not. In this case, it works just as it should, and I would heartily recommend it for those who have the iPhone 7 or 7 Plus and want to use the ear buds while charging.

Simple to use, yet great sound

I actually originally purchased the LG Tone Pro, but due to the very fragile and thin earbud wires, and the fact that they continually cut out, I exchanged them for the Skull Candy earbuds. I had read these were no loud enough, cut out, and have bad range. I have found none of these to be true for me. The LG buds continually cut out, these in the exact situation do not. The volume is great, and I have not had to turn them up to full volume as of yet. The range seems to be fine, about the same as any other I've used.
The big difference in these and the LG and Motorola buds I had, these buds do not give verbal battery and connection confirmations. But I don't find this to be an issue, this is probably mostly a preference for most.
I've found nothing that would be any concern to me and would recommend these for anyone looking for wireless earbuds.

Better than Roku

I picked the fire stick up around 3 weeks ago. The fire stick set up was very easy, I was up and running in about 5 minutes. You can use this if you are not an Amazon Prime member, but the experience is much better if you are.
The best thing about this, which makes it better than Roku is you can download other apps outside of Amazon. This allows you to have virtually unlimited things to watch.

Fantastic with the iPad Pro

Recently picked up an iPad Pro, I also picked up the Apple Pencil to go along with it. I'm glad I did, it has become indispensable for me. I take lots of notes and write daily. This Pencil feels so good in my hand, well balanced, nice weight, and has been perfectly accurate.
I've read many complaints about the cap and charging attachment, this is easily remedied with the Pencil Cozy set from Amazon. I then took a clip from one of my hundreds of pens and pencils lying around and put it on the Pencil, works great.
I've also read many complaining the Pencil isn't as functional as the Surface Pro stylus. I, and many others do not use the Surface Pro, so that complaint is meaningless to us. The Apple Pencil does everything it is designed to do with iPad Pro, and is working fantastic for me. I'd certainly recommend this for anyone who has the iPad Pro.

Not ready for Home security

I received this last week and have had about 6 days to use it. The system arrived well packaged and easy to get out and set up.
Set up took just a few minutes, batteries came fully charged from factory, nice. Package consisted of 2 cameras, 2 batteries, 2 domed mounts, charging cable, charger, base station and quick start instructions. Pairing the cameras with base station was quick and no issues.
I mounted the cameras, downloaded the required app, and was up and running.
Then the problems started, one camera continually disconnected from base station. This required climbing up to where it was mounted and take it down and re-pair it with base station. After the 3rd time I connected NetGear customer service. They emailed me with possible solutions which I tried but did not work. Within 5 minutes the camera had lost connection again. This camera was located about 25 ft from base station, so I ended up moving it closer to base station where it has stayed connected. This is not a good solution because the cameras are now too close together and cannot provide coverage to my entire front of house. I found these cameras lose connection if they are further than 15 feet from base station. This is impractical if you are looking for good coverage of an average house.
The other issue is battery life, I'm only getting about 3-4 days of use before a recharge is needed. Now cameras are mounted near roof which requires me to have to climb to the roof every 3-4 days to recharge.
In conclusion, the system is not reliable enough, will not provide adequate coverage, and battery life is not good enough to be a viable home security camera system.
When the system is working it does what it is designed to do. It just is not reliable enough for me to recommend. Customer service is also a bit slow, and combined with the poor camera system this is not recommended.

Get a reliable portrait lens for your NEX camera with this Sony 50mm lens. It has a fast aperture of f/1.8 for solid performance under low-light conditions, and it can get in close to your subject — up to 1.5 feet. Add a 49mm filter to your Sony 50mm lens for lens protection and polarization effects.

Sharp lens, not as bad as some have said

I put this lens through its paces today. This lens delivers sharp results throughout the focal range. I'm not certain what some reviewers are doing, but focus with this lens on my a6000, was very good and spot on. I shot outside in full sun, indoors, with both natural and artificial light, outside during the golden hour, blue hour, and after astronomical twilight. Focus was as I expected it to be, fast and accurate.
At $199 this lens is a good buy, get it, get out and shoot, and enjoy!

Not bad, but a couple of issues

I've used the trimmer for two weeks now for the most part it has been great. But I did have 2 complaints. First, the nose trimmer is almost impossible to use to trim nose hair. I tried several different angles and could never get it to trim nose hair. Second the clipper attachments seem to cut closer than indicated by the numbers on the back of the trimmer. I was easily able to remedy that by using a higher number, but it is something to be aware of when using.
Overall I was pleased, it is very powerful, cuts clean and charges quickly.

Fantastic Camera, incredible pictures

After using Nikon DSLR/SLR's for 30 years, I switched to this Sony system and could not be happier. A few things I like, 11fps continuous shooting, yes 11 frames per second! Auto focus is near perfect, low light performance has been very good for me. The EVF viewfinder is awesome, so bright and clear. I'd never used one before his camera, now I wouldn't purchase a camera that doesn't have it.
Lens selection is weak compared to Nikon, but what is available seems to be very good. I have the 16-50 and 55-210mm kit lenses, and the Sigma 19 mm 2.8 art, and the 30 mm 2.8 art prime lenses. I find the Sigma lenses to be fantastic lenses, and the kit lenses to be very good, with the 55-210 being the better of the 2.
I'm very happy with my choice, and would never go back to the Nikon system. The Sony is an incredible choice, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Not enough memory for simple tasks

I started using this 4 days ago, I set it up with my Google account downloaded my apps and within 5 minutes of using it, I was getting a low memory warning.
If you want to use this for web browsing it is OK, but a little slow. Streaming video, is a big stress on this tablet and not recommended. The speakers are the worst I've ever heard on any tablet, and the plastic screen does not wok well with any stylus, your finger sticks to the screen and the process is just not smooth. The tablet feels very cheaply made and just does not feel like it will withstand the rigors of normal everyday use.
Of all the tablets I've ever used, this feels the cheapest, performs the worst, and is not recommended for anything but the most simplest of tasks.
I cannot recommend this tablet for anyone, there are better alternatives available in this price range.

This review only applies to all DSLR users that plans to transition over to the Sony A-series. I bought this camera and returned it the next day. DO NOT buy this camera. It looks good on paper until you've actually tried it. PERIOD!
Pros: price package <$1000 with 2 kit lenses. It has WIFI and NFC capabilities. It is portable and cheap battery availability. Fair pictures and can be compared to point and shoot camera qualities :). The low light quality is fair. If you are a landscape lover - you'll get away with the kit lenses. You can charge the batt via USB connection.
Cons: you'll end up spending more money on the adapter in order for you to use your old lenses or buy buy new e mount lenses. The pictures looks very soft and can't zoom to crop - picture quality is is horrible for a mirrorless camera. A Nikon D3200 can do a lot better job in general (trust me- I did a comparison - wit kit lense). All false claims of fast moving auto focus and fake 24.3 mega pixels. The camera over heats for a period of long usage - and short batt life.

With your assessment of the Sony a6000. Anyone who says the picture quality is comparable to Point & Shoot cameras has never used this camera. First, the Sony sensor is much better than even the best P&S cameras. Second if you are getting poor quality photos from this camera, the problem is not the camera, but most likely a lack of operator experience and knowledge. Photos are razor sharp, and auto focus is one of the best I've used.
I was a Nikon user, DSLR/SLR, for many years and can say from experience that almost nothing the reviewer states is accurate. The Sony system is incredible and I could not be happier that I switched from Nikon.

Just minutes after posting this review the second camera disconnected from the base station again. At this point I am going to remove the system from my house. It is just not worth the hassle anymore.

I love this Camera and I got the Kit with Sony Bag and Extra Lens 55-210 Zoom , I sold my D5300 Nikon, and this camera blows it away, and with the Sony Play Memories Apps you can get for it, I was able to do Time Lapses that move! Pan, Zoom etc.., and All kinds of other nifty programs you can buy, like Star Trails, Fun! and the Pictures blow my mind! The Kit Lens is Just Awesome, don't let people tell you that they just think every kit lens sucks, go on Facebook and look up the sony A6000 group, over 11,000 members and see their pictures with kit lens, just amazing, most popular Camera out there I believe.. Mirrorless! is the way to go, glad i did not invest in Nikon lenses, but you can buy and adapter and use other brand lenses with this camera!!

Yes there are 3 threaded holes on the bottom of the projector for ceiling mounting. There is also a remote included with it.

There seems to be some complaints about the frame sliding off the neck and the buds coming out, is this common?
I use mine under my motorcycle helmet and I put them in just before I go to bed. Not once have the frame even felt like it may be coming apart. I tend to thrash around a lot when I sleep, if they can stand up to that, I'm confident they can handle just about anything.

Hi, I really want to use this camera for portraits of friends, as well as capturing scenery and buildings. Will this camera be dynamic enough to photograph all beautifully?
It has been for me, the aps-c sensor captures more than enough information for the shooting you want to do. The a6000 Flickr group has many examples of the capabilities of this terrific camera.
