Set off on a thrilling 3D adventure that takes you to places the Pokémon franchise has never gone before. Pokémon X travels to the breathtaking land of Kalos, a star-shaped, enchanting region brimming with stunning forests, buzzing cities and many brand-new Pokémon. Gaze upon the wonder of the iconic tower in the center of Lumiose City, as you battle, catch and add to your Pokédex an array of new Pokémon that join the 640 you've already encountered. The Trainer is only as good as his Pokémon, so get ready to fight for glory with the powerful new creatures at your fingertips in Pokémon X.Meet Helioptile, a Normal- and Electric-type Pokémon who can generate powerful electricity from sun-bathing to power machinery. While it may display a lack of bravery, its robust Parabolic Charge move makes up for it when Helioptile attacks everything around it. Its HP is restored by half the damage taken by those hit for a significant addition to your Pokédex. Fletchling, a Normal- and Flying-type Pokémon, may take adversaries by surprise, since behind its beautiful chirp and friendly personality lies relentless battle attacks, such as Flame Charge. In addition to doing damage, Fletchling's speed increases every time it unleashes this move. Normally sporting a leaf in its mouth and an intimidating glare, Fighting-type Pokémon Pancham shows its softer side and lets out a smile when you pat its head. During battle, however, Pancham lets loose daunting moves, including Parting Shot, which not only lowers an opponent's Attack and Special Attack, but also allows Pancham to switch out for another Pokémon in a Trainer's party during battle. Discover a new method of transportation with Gogoat, a large Grass-type Pokémon who will gladly let you ride its back around Lumiose City. In battle, its Horn Leech move recovers HP equal to half the damage dealt by its move. With so much to explore and so many new Pokémon to acquire, you're sure to happily spend hours lost within the world of Pokémon X.

I grew up playing the original Red, Blue, and Yellow versions and loved them all dearly. I have always wanted a more improved version and all the others in between didn't seem to be too much of an improvement for me to jump on board, but X and Y are amazing. The graphics and gameplay are amazing! I may be an adult now but I had just as much fun if not more playing through this as I did as a kid!

My girlfriend had the original 3DS and I always thought it was pretty cool although I didn't want to buy a second one, that was until Pokemon X & Y came out. We both wanted to play, battle, and trade together so I decided to buy my own. Being the Newer 3DS with the bigger screen I was blown away, and she was quite jealous! The screen is awesome the 3D feature is cool, and I am glad you have the option to turn on and off, sometimes your eyes need a break from the 3D! The sound was great as well, I would definitely recommend this device to friends!
