This is more of an ice chipper than shaver. The chips are a little big for snow cones, but it gets by. I get the same results with a blender, and much better results with a food processor than with this one, but it is easy to use and easy to cleanup. Also, the included arm that holds the cone will barely hold an empty cup - better off just putting regular cups under it.

It looks good, doesn't add much bulk at all to the phone, but it is pretty expensive for what you get, and it seems like it will really only protect against minor bumps. Other cases I have seem do have more bulk, but look like they would offer much better protection, are cheaper, and include a screen protector in the package (Otter box commuter series). It was also very difficult to remove the first time we had to remove it, it was a little easier on subsequent attempts.

I bought a Zoom 5341 last February, and it worked ok until a few weeks ago. After two calls to charter and a service call, I discovered that Charter had "Blacklisted: this modem. For the last two weeks, we can connect, but only get 1/10 of the speed we are supposed to, and it takes 5-20 minutes to power cycle the modem. DON'T Buy this! Charter recommends Motorola Surfboards, or Cisco modems.
What's great about it: it worked when charter supported it
What's not so great: Charter doesn't support it anymore
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Update
March 12, 2012
Update on this issue. The problem was more with charter on this one, and I would update my review to 4 stars but cannot find where to edit the review. The original tech at charter was incorrect - the modem only required a firmware update which is not user update-able. Charter was unable to push the update, so Zoom sent me a new one with the new firmware, and I sent them back the old one. The new one with the new firmware works wonderfully. The whole process was somewhat of a hassle though, but overall I blame Charter for the issue more than Zoom.
