Gets you reach when needed, but at a cost.

I've used the TC-20E III with a Micro-Nikkor 105mm, 70-200mm f/4, and a 200-500mm f/5.6. The best application was the Micro-Nikkor 105mm because with its f/2.8 aperture it was fast enough to handle the loss of light when using the teleconverter.
It works OK with the 70-200mm f/4 but with the 200-500mm it doesn't autofocus. Of course, you lose some sharpness and contrast when used with slower f/5.6 lens. If I had more long f/2.8 or f/4 lenses, I'd use it more than the limited use I have for it now. In the future I plan on purchasing a Nikon 300mm f/4 PF, I hear that this teleconverter works well with that lens.

This lens is the unsung hero of the Nikkor lineup. It is very compact and light weight, the prefect hiking lens when you want to get to that remote place and capture amazing landscape images.
It is very sharp at all focal lengths, its extremely sharp especially when you stop it down a little. Corner performance is excellent, its not prone to flare and it accepts the very common 77mm filters.
I wouldn't want a version of this lens that has VR as that would add weight unnecessarily. I wouldn't be using VR on a landscape lens anyway because I tend to use a tripod with a cable release in mirror-up mode to maximize sharpness.
If you're in the market for a great FX ultra-wide zoom, you can't go wrong with this choice.

First off, this is a very comfortable sling. The padding is thick and it stays positioned well, evenly distributing the weight on the shoulder. Where this sling really shines is when I have a higher weight lens attached to my camera. The weight is much less noticeable than with an around the neck type setup.
When I'm using a heavy lens, I feel much more secure and confident in this sling than I do with others I've tried. The hardware, although some of it is plastic seems over-engineered in a good way.
There is only one connection in the camera load path, its a 1 1/4" wide black plastic quick connect on the 1" webbing. The quick connect has a safety mechanism which requires three fingers to release, the traditional two on the sides and an additional one on the safety latch in the middle of the connector. Even if the strap quick connect is inadvertently released, the camera won't fall to the floor as there is an adjustable plastic stop on the webbing that I believe serves as a travel limiter and as a safeguard against dropping your camera.
The metal carabiner has a threaded door collar to lock it in place. If that isn't enough to inspire confidence that your gear is secure, they provide a redundant locking mechanism, a plastic carabiner cover. The carabiner cover, locks the lock in place; it prevents the threaded door collar from backing out. The pictures show the carabiner threaded door collar in its disengaged and engaged positions and with the carabiner cover in place.
This is a very well designed sling, every detail is thought out, tried and true. The build quality is top notch.

Amazing portrait and low light lens.

Simply the best portrait lenses I've used on a full frame Nikon. I wanted a sharp lens that can be shot wide open for good subject isolation with a narrow depth of field and this lens fits that role.
As for the focal length, I think it's perfect for head shots; the one in my review was taken with me seated at the same table just a few feet from the subject. I had an SB700 flash sitting on the table off to the side of the subject and fired it remotely with a Yongnuo YN622N wireless flash trigger. With my 50mm lens I'd have had to crop it quite a bit and lose out on some resolution. My 24-120 F/4 zoom lens would have worked OK but it's not as nearly as good in low light. This lens will get the nod anytime I want to capture human subjects.
Are they any negatives? The only negative I can identify is that I'd prefer this lens was nano-coated. I think the color rendition and contrast is better with the nano-coated lenses. I'm sure that nano-coating would increase the price some but this lens is so relatively affordable that I could live with that.
Some may say the lack of VR is a negative but I don't agree. I'm glad this lens doesn't have VR as the VR system would add weight and with a wide 1.8 aperture I don't see that it would be particularly useful in this application.
All the positive reviews are correct, this lens is an amazing value and is a wonderful addition to your FX Nikon. It's light and simple design should give you many years of faithful service capturing beautiful images.

Sometimes my Ford Sync system flakes out and is difficult to connect. When that happens, I just turn this on and it connects to my I-phone 5 right away. I listen to audio books during my daily commute, the volume and quality of the Flip 3 is more than adequate for that application.

After seeing all the highly positive reviews, I decided on this Sigma fish-eye for my Nikon D750. When you need extremely wide, 180 degree field of view, this lens delivers wonderfully. I find its sharp wide open, and it performs surprisingly well in the corners, see included landscape image. Another great feature of this lens is its close focus distance of 5.9" that enables you to take some very creative images.

I purchased this lens after carefully reviewing all the reviews and more importantly, the photographs taken with this lens by the average hobbyist on sites like flickr. The pictures taken with the Nikkor 200-500mm looked a bit better than the third party lenses it competes with. You can get sharp pictures with any of the 150-600mm offerings but the Nikkor 200-500mm has more natural looking out of focus areas to my eye.
I've been using this lens with and without a Nikon TC-14e III teleconverter. I'm amazed at how well the lens works with the teleconverter! Of course, you have to shoot at F8 or smaller aperture but if the light is there it auto-focuses fine on a D750, examples included.

I use this to store photographs I don't want to have take up precious room on the 512 GB SSD of my notebook computer. The USB 3.0 is very fast. The drive runs cool and quiet. I've not had any issues at all with the drive and I've used it at lot over the past few months.

I was doing a project that required I have a long HDMI cable fast. If I wasn't in a hurry, there is no way I'd pay this kind of money for a 24' HDMI cable. It's a quality cable and I have no issues with the product itself, only in the price of it. There are cables of similar quality out there for a fraction of the price.

Will this lens take good macro style shots?
Will it focus up close for detailed pictures of flowers, etc?
With a minimum focus distance of 1.48 ft it will let you get close to your subject(s). The magnification ratio is only 0.15X though, which means you're not going to reproduce the image anywhere near Macro levels which are considered to be 1:1 or 1.0X. This lens produces images about 1/6th the size of macro.
