NICE LOOKING STAINLESS - FITS THE SPACE

This is the 3rd time in 20 years that I have replaced the kitchen over-the-range microwave (more like original and 2 replacements). Per usual, the mounting holes (rear and top) moved from prior installations, so re-drilling of holes in sheet rock and cabinet for securing oven to wall may be required. Seems every couple of years, they have to move the holes to keep it interesting for the installer. Beyond that install issue however, I must say, I'm very pleased with the unit, very glad I chose the stainless (vs the black or white), quite surprised how quiet it is for both the microwave fan and the hood/exhaust fan, The exhaust fan is powerful, moves air, sucks the steam off a boiling pot of pasta.
What's great about it: EXCEPTIONALLY QUIET
I would recommend this to a friend!

LARGE SCREEN, GOOD VOICE RECONITION, HANDS FREE
on April 18, 2012

I've had a half dozen various vintage automotive Garmins over the years, all great performers. I've also purchased Marine and Aviation Garmins. I decided to spring for this high end model (~$250) motivated by the larger screen (for senior eyesight) and primarily for the voice recognition, allowing handsfree control while driving (which is as bad or worse than texting while driving). Of course the Traffic Management updates can be a real plus (routing around accidents and obstructions in real time), and this "LMT" version comes with "life time" map updates (which can be costly for unit's that don't have such). So it's a winner for me. You can obtain very similar Garmins without LMT, Voice, smaller screens, for way less money (like $80), but this was worth the $$.
What's great about it: SCREEN SIZE AND VOICE RECOGNITION
What's not so great: PRICE IS HIGHER THAN I USUALLY SPEND ON A AUTOMOTIVE GPS
I would recommend this to a friend!

Another great Garmin

I've been using Garmin's for a long time (marine, aviation, etc), and several other brands also. For highway driving in the USA, you can't beat these Garmin 200 series (nuvi 255WT in this case). We have 3 of these in the family cars, maps are accurate, updates available, and the traffic management feature on the 255WT is a life saver on the I-95, D.C. beltway, etc.
What's great about it: Just works, my wife and kids can do setup without me.
What's not so great: I could always use a bigger screen (think iPad size!).
I would recommend this to a friend!
