Coffee Lovers Dream Machine

I couldn't wait to unpack this Keurig coffee maker, as my household is a coffee drinkers paradise. We have several different coffee makers, such as a combo espresso/coffee maker, a regular coffee maker and now the Keurig. Having the option of preparing that single cup of coffee is now a reality.
The Keurig was packed well and secured with strategically placed pieces of tape. The unit was marketed with 6 K Kups, after that you have to purchase your own supply of coffee. After a quick wash and unit brewing rinse, the unit was ready to brew it's first cup of java. Instructions were clear and concise.
The Keurig is a very welcomed edition, as I was impressed by several things. The brewing speed of the unit is quite fast. Three minutes is advertised by the literature (to heat the water), but in my testing the brew speed was a lot quicker. The brewing action is not without the usual "brewing-sounds and vibration", which I considered to be nominal. The temperature of the brewed coffee is not boiling hot, rather it's drinking temperature after you add some milk. A word on clean up........ Just throw the K Kup away. No rinsing, no scrubbing, no mess. NICE!
The Keurig has a 'strong' cup of coffee feature, which allows you to brew that stronger cup of coffee should you choose to. You do have the option of brewing at regular strength as this unit has a dual option making it ideal for any household. Brewing a strong cup of coffee is a necessity, as our household likes a strong taste. As far as the taste of the K Kup selection that was included.........Great tasting. You will have to experiment with the various coffees on the market to find your favorite one.
The water tank is a little cumbersome to fill and fit onto the unit. In my opinion, it should have been engineered with more of a handle or grip when you attempt to attach the tank to the side of the machine. It's an awkward feeling fitting the tank to the side of the Keurig unit. It should be noted that other users might not find this to be so. To me, its a matter of your personal judgement.
The only drawback to owning any K Kup coffeemaker is the cost of the single brew K Kups, but on the other hand it's still a lot cheaper than going to Starbucks. You do have another option and that is going out and purchasing a "Single Serve Coffee Filter". This allows you to brew your own coffee through this unit. The single serve coffee filter allows you to fill the single serve cup with your own special blend of coffee. The only drawback to this method, is that you have to clean the single serve filer after each use.
Overall, the Keurig is a winner. Excellent coffee, great brewing machine!

Clean your carpets efficiently with this iRobot Roomba vacuum. It lets you set a schedule for automated vacuuming, and the sensors help it navigate under furniture and around objects on the floor for a more thorough cleaning job. This iRobot Roomba vacuum has internal brushes, agitators and suction to handle debris and pet hair.

One Of The Best Maids You Can Buy

I would like to start off by saying that I own a top-of the line Roomba, so I was excited to test the Roomba 690 to see how it compared. Here is a little background information on the Roomba 690. It has a edge sweeping brushes that loosen, lift, and suction debris from all floor types. Roomba has sensors to automatically detect high dirt concentrations on your floors and then performs a detailed cleaning of that high grime area. It is amazing how this device can sense these "extra-dirty" areas and clean and re-clean that particular area. Amazing, but it really works. I personally can attest to the fact that the Roomba very efficiently cleans your floors and carpets. It always does a magnificent cleaning job in our home. Look at your floors for example, and what do you see? Clean, right? Unleash the Roomba and see what happens. Roomba makes it way into your bedrooms and starts cleaning underneath your beds, underneath your sofas, and everywhere it can reach. When was the last time you actually moved your beds or sofas and cleaned under there? Wait until Roomba finishes cleaning your home and you empty its debris container. I guarantee that it will be filled with lots of dirt, fuzz, food particles and whatever else was resting on your floors. That's when it will hit you, as to how dirty your floors really were. You won't see most of the dirt but Roomba will find the dirt! Roomba is not designed for wet floor use and is not going to clean mud or sticky messes on your floor. You will still have to mop your floors for that ultimate clean in your home.
Roomba has sensors that allow the unit to wend its way through the obstacles in your home. We have lots of chairs in our kitchen, a bird cage, and a baby high chair. Roomba has never gotten stuck between the table or chair legs but has gotten stuck in other areas of our home. The Roomba did become lodged in my testing under some of the baseboards in our kitchen and also under our TV stand as these areas have irregular heights and our TV stand is warped. What actually happens is the Roomba initially has enough clearance to get under these particular areas, but becomes lodged when "topside" clearance narrows down and prevents it from properly maneuvering. I really don't feel that this is the fault of the unit, but is due to the unevenness of our TV stand and baseboards. There is a solution to this and it's called Virtual Wall Barrier which is included with the Roomba 690. A bit more about the Virtual Wall Barrier a little later on in the review.
Roomba does really well as we have a sunken living room and has never fallen down over the step. It simply reverses course and continues its cleaning routine. It should work equally as well if you have a townhouse with stairs. What I did not test the Roomba on was shag carpet, or very thick carpets. My home is tiled, and has throw rugs or mats placed through our home. Roomba did not even blink an eye when switching from tiled floors to carpeting. The verdict on shag carpets is unknown.
This unit comes with one Virtual Wall Barrier device, which electronically blocks your Roomba from entering a room, or passing a certain point of a room. All you do is activate and set the Virtual Wall barrier and the Roomba will not proceed past that "set-point". Virtual wall barriers can also be placed in strategic areas of a cleaned area, which will prevent the Roomba from entering those particular areas. Virtual wall barriers are ideal for areas in which it tends to become stuck (as mentioned in my earlier part of the review) such as kitchen base boards or under certain TV stands.
A word on run times. Roomba 690 has an advertised run time of 60 minutes. I have a 1750 square foot home, so if I let the unit roam entirely by itself, it will clean my entire home. If you have very large homes or apartments, your Roomba will probably return to the base station for recharging before it finishes cleaning your entire home or apartment. When Roomba wears down its battery charge, it will "auto-doc" to the home station when it needs to be charged. No need to pick it up and hand-carry it. In my testing, Roomba always returned to the base station by itself when it needed to be charged.
Roomba has Wi-Fi connectivity and is compatible with Amazon Alexa and the Google Assistant. It can be controlled through the iRobot Home application which means you are able to customize its cleaning schedule and check its cleaning status. You are also able to access customer support from any Android or IOS device.
In closing, I have to admit the Roomba 690 performs as well as my top of the line Roomba unit. Roomba 690 does a magnificent job of capturing dirt, dust, fuzz, and anything else in its way. Run time was sufficient enough to clean my home without it having to auto-return to base for recharging. My top of the line Roomba unit has a run time of 120 minutes as compared to 60 minutes for the Roomba 690. It also managed to clean my area rugs from any loose debris. My only wish, is that the Roomba 690 be marketed with two Virtual Wall Barriers (instead of one) which are really handy items. Having a mechanical maid in your home is awesome. Roomba 690 is a winner and will pay for itself by not having to hire a maid.

Toss this waterproof LifeProof AQUAPHONICS speaker in the pool and watch it float. The crisp audio doesn't stop for snow, dirt or ice, and this Bluetooth-enabled speaker can withstand a drop from 1.2m. The battery of this LifeProof AQUAPHONICS speaker keeps going for 15 hours, and it charges your phone while it's playing.

Aquaphonic - Spalsh & Play

I am an audiophile with a very discriminating ear, and couldn't wait to unpack the Aquaphonics AQ11 and give it a try. Here are some of my observations:
* Designed for both indoor and active outdoor use.
* Rechargeable battery which is advertised to last a whopping 15 hours.
* Has front-facing speakers and advertised to reach 100 decibels.
* Bluetooth 4.2
* Built-in for speakerphone capabilities, which means that you can answer your phone directly thru the unit.
* Floats in the water and has a built-in, water-tight dry-box to keep your valuables dry.
* Submersible and waterproof for 30 minutes for up to 3 feet (I would rather not test this capability, so I will assume that the manufacturers claim is accurate).
* Drop Proof, dirt-proof and snow-proof (I did not test this capability).
* Very portable as it weighs in at 4 pounds.
* You can also charge your phone directly from this unit.
* Device easily paired with my IPhone 7 plus, Mac laptop and my Acer laptop.
* Supports up to 8 devices
I was really curious as to judging the sound capabilities and the musicality of this unit, so I performed a side by side comparison of the Aquaphonics AQ11 against two of my Bluetooth speakers which I own. I will refrain from indicating their names, but one devices name rhymes with the number "9", and the other rhymes with the word "Goes". Overall the Aquaphonics AQ11 did a pretty decent job. The speaker has full sound, clear highs and good lows. Music reproduction was handled with ease. All types of music sounded good and I was very pleasantly surprised. Although it was not the best sounding speaker as compared to one of my other Bluetooth speakers, it was a very close second. And I mean, a very very close second. If I had a choice between the 3 speakers, I would choose the Aquaphonics AQ11 because of its overall versatility.
In closing I should remind you that the Aquaphonics AQ11 is a superior product for very "active" consumers, who can rely on the product to keep on working through some adverse conditions. Using the unit aboard your boat, at the beach, in your pool, in the ocean, or in the snow, etc, make this unit very versatile. You don't have to worry about dropping the unit into the water or splashing water on it. The Aquaphoncis AQ11 is a great speaker and will please you. Depend upon it.

I was anxious to review and put the Nyne Rock Bluetooth, water resistant speaker through the motions. It's light enough to carry with one hand as it has a built-in handle. The speaker weighs in at 12 lbs, which makes it pretty portable. It's rhombus shaped and does take up a bit of shelf space, so you will need a little extra room. The Nyne Rock has a partial rubberized exterior which should resist scrapes and scuffs. The speaker does have a metal grill covering and I advise that you should not bump the grill too hard, or you'll surely put dents in it. The Nyne Rock boasts covered ports, making it splash and dirt-proof.
Controls are neatly arrayed across the top, under silicone that glows white (blue for hands-free button) through the buttons while the speaker is on. Devices can connect wirelessly to the Nyne Rock via Bluetooth. Pairing was painless, quick and simple. The connection to Bluetooth is indicated by a beep (two beeps when you disconnect).
Cable ports are located on the back of the Nyne Rock, underneath a lid with has a silicone gasket. There are 3.5 mm connections for line in/out, as well as a 5 V / 1 A USB output to charge devices (only while the speaker is on). The speaker itself recharges through a wall adapter, and has a series of 5 LEDs which light up to show an estimate of how much power is left when you press the little button. To conserve energy the speaker automatic shuts off after five minutes of inactivity.
The Nyne Rock features a built-in microphone for hands-free voice conversation which is great. If you're sitting within a few feet and project your voice towards the Rock, you'll come through clearly. There's no static, muffling, or sounding like you're speaking through a tube, hallway or barrel (and vice-versa).
The Rock's Bluetooth wireless performance is generous, maintains a solid and unwavering connection up to the listed 100 foot distance. After being turned on, the speaker looks to connect with the last known device. Included with the Nyne Rock is documentation, an audio cable, the wall adapter, and an assortment of international plug tips. Nice and simple. The Nyne Rock has an edgy appearance. Battery life is advertised at 10-12 hours of playtime, which should be long enough to outlast your pool party or your outing to the beach. You can also charge your cell phone with this speaker.
Overall the Nyne Rock makes music fun and enjoyable to listen to. The speaker is well suited for outdoor activities, and wide open spaces. If you're looking for greater depth or richness of sound, there are other speakers better suited to the task. I performed a side by side test of the Nyne Rock and a smaller cylindrical Bluetooth speaker. I will refrain from listing the name of the other speaker, but the smaller speaker sounded much more crisp and sharper during my testing. You should know that I'm an audiophile and have a very discriminate ear. Please don't get me wrong, if you are not putting a very critical ear to it, overall the Nyne Rock will satisfy you and certainly meet your needs. I think most consumers will be happy with the Nyne Rock. Enjoy your music.

Enjoy a smooth shave and less irritation with this Braun electric shaver. Its rotating head provides close skin contact, and two CrossHair blades ensure that no hair gets left behind, especially in problematic zones on the neck. This Braun electric shaver includes a trimmer for precisely cutting mustaches and sideburns.

Cut Above the Rest

I have had the pleasure of owning a Braun Series 5 shaver for several years. Till this date, I have never encountered a problem. The razor holds a charge long enough to take many a shave. I usually replace the foil head and cutting razors after 13-14 months of use, which I consider to be a very decent life. The razor is very easy to clean and reassemble. It should be noted that I have also owned other electric razors made by different companies, and nothing works as well as a BRAUN. Braun is definitely the one to own. Look no further, your buying the best.

You can say that I'm like a boomerang, as I always return to purchase a product that I have good luck with. The Insignia Multi-Purpose paper works in both of the home printers and never seems to jam. It has a good weight and has an excellent brightness. The price is right for 500 sheets. No complaints, just a fantastic product. Happy Printing!

I currently own an HP Printer and have always used original HP Ink cartridges. I have owned the printer for several years and have gone through many ink cartridges. I am very up front when I write reviews and I can honestly say that I am absolutely amazed with the rate that the ink is utilized. My printer is set to minimum settings and there is no heavy usage in my home. It seems that after printing 20 copies or so, I get a 'low ink' message. I have another printer in my household, which is not an HP, but ink consumption is not nearly as bad as the HP. From reading quite a bit of other reviews, it seems that I am not the only person with this experience. On a final note, the HP printer that I own has consumed ink cartridges in this manner since the get go.

This Apple charger is like any other APPLE product. It works as advertised, and has the user in mind. It is held in place by a magnetic contact, so that it can easily detach itself from your computer in case you trip over the cord. Such a smart idea. It will save your computer from winding up on the floor smashed to bits. The end of the cord has an led light which visually lets you know that your computer is actively charging. This power charger has a smart design, and in my opinion runs circles around "knock-offs". Well worth the money if you are in the market for a replacement or extra charger.

I am an audiophile and I love music. I have been around BOSE and their products since I was a child. Let me start off by saying that there is nothing on the market that is even close to this product. If you know nothing about Bose, you are in for a very pleasant surprise. This speaker may look small, but the sound quality is absolutely awesome. Both at high and low volumes there is virtually no distortion. You will not believe the clarity, sharpness, the lows, the highs, and the amazing sound that this little power-house puts out. The unit easily paired with my laptop computer, portable headphones, as well as my Iphone 7 plus. The unit is completely portable, so feel free to bring it into any room of your home, or play your music outside. I have played the unit for several hours and still had battery life. No complaints here. I do have the "cradle" that Bose sells as an add-on. I usually keep the speaker on the cradle to charge. The speaker has a built in handle on top of the unit, which makes it very convenient to move the speaker anywhere your choose. Bose definitely has a winning product. Delightful to own.

Our home is a coffee drinkers paradise, so the receipt of the DeLonghi was highly anticipated and welcomed. This household consumes at least 16 cups of coffee per day, which does not include the consumption of Cuban Coffee (Turkish/Greek Coffee as others call it) which is currently brewed through non-conventional means. What is meant by that is that Cuban/Turkish/Greek Coffee is not made with a specialty "coffee maker".
The DeLonghi is designed for the brewing of a variety of coffee-based beverages such as American Coffee, Espresso, Cappuccino, Lattes, Hot Chocolate, as well as Cuban/Turkish and Greek coffees. It's cappuccino system easily prepares perfectly frothed coffee, and its 24-hour programmable timer lets you make up to 10 cups of your favorite brew on your personalized schedule. Great news for those users that like the option of using and brewing specialized coffees with ESE pods, as this machines allows for the use of them.
The DeLonghi has a quite a few niceties (some of which I will mention here, and others later on in my review), such as auto shut-off which promotes safe operation. This feature will turn your machine off after 2 hours. The unit has water filtration which helps you achieve that perfect cup of coffee. Also standard with this unit is a cup warmer. NICE touch!
This unit has a removable water tank which allows for easy refilling for when making Espresso, Cappuccino, Cuban, and Greek/Turkish coffee. Just detach the water tank and fill it underneath your kitchen sink faucet. YES! It should be noted the the drip coffee maker has a separate water supply which is not removable. This means that you have to fill the water tank by adding water via a pull out assembly that harbors that coffee filter housing. Noteworthy is the fact that the DeLonghi does not have that "plastic smell " which is almost always present in new coffee makers. Thank Goodness! A word concerning the coffee filter. The unit comes with a permanent metal mesh filter, meaning that you can throw out your paper filters! No more fumbling at 6:00 am trying to separate a paper coffee filter from that multi-pack! There is a removable drip tray keeps your counter tops nice and clean.The drip tray has a hidden "float" and when the water level get too high, the "tip" of the float sticks out through the grill which alerts you to spill out the excess water. This is very cool. This unit also comes with a cup warming surface located on-top of the machine. This is real nice, as many coffee drinkers are located in cold climates and the extra hand warmth feels nice.

Purchased this lens about 18 months ago for my Nikon D7000. Lens is very fast with focusing, and takes great shots. It has never disappointed me. Great for wildlife, zoos, everglades, sports events, etc. Buy it!

The Acer Tablet is an absolute delight. This is my fist experience with a tablet and what a nice surprise. My whole family doesn't want to put it down! The processor is fast, doesn't get hot even after extended periods of use and does most everything my home computer does. The tablet keyboard is very responsive and has a great feel to it. So far battery life has been amazing. Lots of use with SKYPE, emails, and internet browsing and battery life indicates plenty of charge. Having a great battery life will make you very happy. The tablet is very lightweight and has a great color display. The Acer tablet is very simple to operate, which is another plus. I am totally satisfied and very happy to own this product. This is an overall great tablet. Buy one.

I have to honestly put some updates to my review of this item. One or two days after the posting of my review this tablet become inoperable. Acer customer service had me factory reset this tablet. That option did not solve the problem. I had to ship this tablet back to Acer for repair. Tablet was received back from repair and the tablet once again is is need of repair after 6 days of use. Tablet has a sluggish response time, does not respond to Google search normally, stumbles when switching programs, and the list goes on. Asked Acer to replace this detective unit, as their customer service wants me to send it in for repairs once again! This unit has no reliability and consumers should be very careful. What an inconvenience as this tablet has less than three weeks use on it and now needs another repair. My five star rating of this unit should be changed to one star. The only positive for this tablet is battery life. I am very, very disappointed with this unit.

I would like to add a footnote to my review, as I originally stated that I was not going to comment on the taste of the brewed coffee. I really feel that it would be a disservice if I didn't comment on the DeLonghi's cappuccinos. My entire family is now so hooked on cappuccinos. The frothiness, the creaminess, and the overall flavor is absolutely amazing (even without the milk). Much better than store bought! DeLonghi has done a great job with this machine. So very happy to own this unit. Thanks.

I would suggest using a quality screen cleaner. I'm sure you will have no problem with removal of grime.

Do the sides of the toaster get hot to the touch when in use??
I personally own this product and it does get not when in use. Please ensure that the product placed in such a way which allows good ventilation and is out of the reach of small children. Personally I love this toaster.
