In this update of Washington Irving's classic tale, Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) wakes up in the 21st century but finds his 18th-century nemesis, the Headless Horseman, has also come along for the ride. After a local sheriff (Clancy Brown) is killed, Crane teams up with Det. Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) to sort out the mystery and its historical implications, though her supervisor, Capt. Frank Irving (Orlando Jones) is skeptical of all the supernatural shenanigans. And as Season 1 unfolds, these otherworldly events include encounters with menacing demons, frightening explorations of purgatory and impending visits by the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
On paper, the idea of Ichabod Crane returning to life to stop the Headless Horseman who happens to be one of the 4 Horseman of the Apocalypse sounds...ludicrous, and yet it totally works in an amazing and epic way.
If you liked the first Raid - heck, if you just enjoy amazing fight scenes, then this is an excellent purchase. It definitely focuses more on story this time, though, more so than the last movie.

Even after almost 20 years, still an amazing game. Looks great on the 3DS. While I miss the Z button from the N64, they did a good job porting it to the 3DS.
This epic release from the landmark fantasy series Game of Thrones includes all 10 episodes of the show's third season, following the ongoing story of the powerful families of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros, a land in which the cut-throat political web through which seemingly everyone vies for control includes torture, seduction, and many secrets.
This series continues to improve season after season (although some people have issues with how these past two seasons deviate from the books a bit). Season 3 is more epic, more thrilling, and has more "wow I can't believe that just happened" moments in store - the "Red Wedding" episode being the epitome of the latter. The dvd extras are bountiful as usual. Definitely one of the best tv series ever made, and I highly recommend adding it to your collection.
I went into this movie not thinking much of it - I'm a huge fan of the original Raimi trilogy (despite Spider-Man 3 having massive problems...), and this movie was pretty much Sony's attempt to keep the movie license. It's a good reboot, but I don't think showing the origin story yet again was necessary. The Raimi films are still fresh in peoples' minds, and even if you have new viewers who haven't seen them, you don't need to spend 40 minutes for the origin yet again. The good thing is that Andrew Garfield makes a great Peter Parker and Spider-Man, who is far more witty and humorous than Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man. The visuals are great, but the story appears to be cut and edited a bit from what you were expecting from the trailer - in fact, there are clips in the trailer that never appear in the movie that talk about "secrets" surrounding Peter's parents that are never elaborated on. The best thing I can say about this is that without it we wouldn't be getting the sequel, which judging by the trailers will be quite (pardon the pun) amazing - and it'll also focus on the "secrets" that were left out of the first film. It's a solid superhero movie and a good reboot.

What's great about it: Visuals are great, Garfield makes a great Parker/Spidey
What's not so great: Unncessary origin story again, decent story
It is over the top violence and gore, and is truly deserving of its R rating. It is a product of its time, commenting on 80s politics and corporations, among others, in a witty and satirical fashion - at yet it also has deeper themes on what it means to be human (or not human). This is one of my most favorite movies of all time. The acting can be slightly campy and exaggerated, but it absolutely fits for the kind of movie this is: A fun (but incredibly violent) and entertaining movie with some deeper themes thrown in to separate it from the herd - in short, it could be seen as a "bad B-movie" but it rises above that to cult-like status because it knows exactly what kind of movie it is and it revels in it.

What's great about it: Great action, humor and satire
What's not so great: That the sequels weren't as good
Howard Shore continues to produce excellent and epic music for this series. Everything sounds familiar and fits well with the entire Middle-Earth series so far, and yet there are still new and unique sounds and themes to hear. As noted above, I would have liked to have some themes stand out more (in LOTR, for example, there are musical pieces and themes are I can still remember and call out by name because they are so memorable), but that might just be because I haven't listened to it as much yet. The special edition has some nice extras, including expanded tracks and sheet music. The real treat of this OST is the closing song to the movie, "I See Fire", which is quite amazing.

What's great about it: Collector's edition has neat extras, music is, as always, epic and unique
What's not so great: Not as many strong themes as LOTR, but this is a minor nitpick
Enjoy a variety of free-to-air programs with this RCA amplified indoor antenna. Smartboost technology amplifies weak signals so that you can pick up television stations up to 40 miles away from the broadcast tower. Enjoy both UHF and VHF stations without paid television subscriptions with this RCA amplified indoor antenna.
My old digital receiver wasn't able to receive NBC, so the Best Buy associate recommended this one. It happened to be on sale, and so far works fine. There are times where I will need to adjust the position of the device and the antenna, but it's not something that occurs often. I assume it's just due to some physical interference because of where my apartment is located in relation to where the main tv stations broadcast, so it's not really a big deal.

What's great about it: Got it on sale for half off, gets me the channels I want
What's not so great: Requires some antenna adjustment from time to time
