I played 2K11 on the PS3 and when I heard about the improvements that they made for the '13 version I decided to get it. I gambled and went with the Wii U version (even though I knew I'd like the PS3 version) and that Gamble PAID OFF BIG TIME. Every bit as good with the addition of off-tv play and the ability to pick plays and styles on the touchpad (I always struggled to get the plays and defensive sets I wanted using the PS3 controller)
Wii U is the best version!

What's great about it: Every bit as good as PS3 version, but with the addition of off-TV play and you can use the touchscreen for play calling
What's not so great: To play 2 player you have to buy the Pro Controller (I did and it works like a champ)

I saw this movie in the cheap theater so 3D wasn't an option, but when I popped the 3D blu-ray in and turned on my 3DTV WOW I was VERY IMPRESSED it sucked me right in. The 3D was SUPER CRISP and the fighting scenes in 3D made me feel like I was there in the cartoon.
What's great about it: The 3D you have to watch it in 3D

Don't you hate it when manufacturers ignore telling you the bottom line.
This product is of no service to anyone, unless you give Roku your Credit Card so that they can charge you whatever. You won't find this out until you have completely installed the product and tried to use it. Then a live screen on TV will tell you to submit your Credit Card or take the product back to the store. I promptly took the product back to the store and got my $100.00 dollars plus back from Best-buy. Sorry, I'm not stupid @!!
Besides that, Roku is overdone by Smart DVD players and Smart TV's that do the same. Internet TV is too much for purchase and is not quite worth it.
I would be better off to pay for cable TV.

You actually can use it without a credit card on hold and there is free content. It's just most people will choose to also purchase content. If you want to use it without a credit card just call them up while setting it up and it's not a problem. I gave them mine for convenience, but I have a buddy that did that because he didn't want his kids buying stuff he didn't want them to buy.

I have been reading up on the game since before the JP release, and what I have heard has left me excited for Feb.
I loved Awakening, and I saw it as a great new iteration of the series that I still play every so often today.
Fates takes some of what was done well in Awakening and improves it. The gameplay is a huge step up, with new features, more balanced difficulty scaling for at least the Conquest route, and more varied objectives; overall great, some of the best in the series.
Unfortunately, the story is not so amazing. Two of the three routes have issues ranging from small to glaring when it comes to story, but any more specifics would be spoilers.
Some people may have problems with some of the more controversial features introduced in this game, but it is up to the localization to see how much of those filter through to here.
Fire Emblem Fates has its flaws, but so does everything else, it's to be expected. The main thing is that while those looking for an amazing story may be slightly disappointed (or not, who knows?), those who want fun gameplay that presents an entertaining challenge will not be. It is a solid addition to the series that I would readily recommend.

How can it be stereo, if there is only one speaker? Even if the speaker had a dual voice coil it's still mono.

You can actually do it with just the 3DTV if you have 3D cable channels. I used to get ESPN 3D on DirecTV, but I cut my cable so now it's just 3D Blu-rays and my PS3.

My local Best Buy got a Wii U stand and I decided to check that out. Controller felt good and menu looked fine for the most part. Then got to the one game available to demo: Rayman Legends. Wanna know how it went? Neither do I because it kept freezing and after one minute of a and kept giving me an error: 1-0001. Restarted the Wii U multiple times and nothing. Anyone else get this type of problem?
No, I bought my Wii U at launch and yes it has frozen, but not over and over like that and with the updates the freezing is basically gone now.
