The excitement of the 2006 Rose Bowl Championship between the Texas Longhorns and the USC Trojans -- an event attended by an astounding 50,000 people, which lifted the Longhorns to a thrilling close-cut 41-38 victory -- can be relived again and again by football fans with the home release 2006 Rose Bowl: Texas vs. USC. 2006 Rose Bowl was an instant classic game of the century, #1 USC vs #2 Texas in one of the best college football bowl games in all-time since 2003 Fiesta Bowl - #1 Miami vs #2 Ohio State, Texas had started the game as underdogs to upset Southern California, the national powerhouse of college football, later in the 4th quarter, USC tried to go for it in 4th Down, but Longhorns D stop Trojans offense in the 4th Down stand, but Vince Young scored the game-winning touchdown run under some time left in the football game in Pasadena, California, since Texas had won their 1st Rose Bowl Game back in 2005 against Michigan (38-37) and now Texas won their first BCS National Championship in 4 years in Texas school history, Young was named Rose Bowl MVP twice to beat back-to-back from 2004 and 2005, Matt Leinart and Reggie Bush.
What's great about it: Instant Classic BCS bowl game ever

Allan Moyle's drama about a high-school pirate radio maverick, Pump Up the Volume comes to DVD with a pair of transfers. The widescreen anamorphic transfer preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1, and is preferable in every way to the standard full-frame image. Closed-captioned English soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital Surround. English subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include trailers, and filmographies for the cast and crew. This is a fine disc from New Line.

Great movie, cool soundtrack, & freedom of speech

I like this film Pump Up The Volume on DVD, it's seem like will make me think about myself back in my high school daze without express my feelings in my own pirate radio station, Christian Slater had a brilliant performace in that film, Slater plays as Mark Hunter, who is a shy high school student who moved from New York to Arizona in an new high school, but at night Mark becames as Hard Harry, a pirate radio VJ who have a sound-like voice as Jack Nicholson talked about anything in life and high school, then Mark have meets a girl named Nora (played by Samantha Mathis in her film debut.) Plot, Cinematography, and Acting is great, and the soundtrack in the film is so cool, featuring the songs was featured in the sountrack album, and some songs was featured in the film including Leonard Cohen's Everybody Knows and Was Not Was' Dad, I'm In Jail was not featured in the soundtrack album.
What's great about it: Good movie from the 90's
