All the people who wondered "Why make a remake of Ghostbusters, and all women?" are obviously the reason why this was made. Remember how put-upon the Ghostbusters gang was in the original basic story, how they didn't get credibility? Any mention of any kind of glass ceiling is applicable here. So yes, an all-female team does know what it's like to be crapped on by the establishment, and that's what the big gig is about. If you can't appreciate the beauty of just that issue standing for anyone being left out in the cold,... then you're the reason why people get left out in the cold.
Wiig and McCarthy are amazing as always. The whole gang is. And watching them slog through everyone dumping on them makes each little stride for their team a good cheering spot. I recommend a drinking game for every time a man writes them off, including every time a woman takes the jerky's view and writes them off (mayor's assistant is great example).
Gushing aside, the mancandy (Hemsworth) is fun but not great, he's no comic genius but he does the himbo gig ok.
Enhance your Xbox One gameplay with this Turtle Beach Ear Force Stealth 420X+ headset, which wirelessly connects to your console from up to 30' away. A removable high-sensitivity boom microphone lets you clearly communicate with your teammates.
I'm no pro at picking audio, and least of all for wireless headphones. This was a good deal when it was on sale (I thought a bit pricey for a newbie like me when it was normal price). Good sound, I feel ok about hearing voices and general gaming-range sounds and general movies. They do have a boost called "Ultrahuman Sound" or something, I think it bumps up the extreme ends of sounds, supposedly to hear twigs of grass bending or a bus rolling by blocks away if you're in a game and you wanna hear everything.
It does use a dongle, and for an XBO S there aren't too many easily-accessed USB ports for it. I do find that the dongle sometimes bugs out; I have had to unplug the dongle maybe every other month once or twice to get it to reset and reconnect the headphones.
The range is ok but not great. If I want to use my XBO for music and I'm walking around my apartment (NYC apts, not very big, folks), I find that more than 20 feet away and it'll start to crackle in the ears and then just cut out.
Appearance is fine, though not flashy or slick. it can be a bit uncomfortable for long wearing (by end of a movie your ears might hurt, especially if you wear glasses). I am concerned that the plastic pivots for each ear might break, but that hasn't happened yet.
This release from the UK drama Queer as Folk includes all six episodes of the critically acclaimed series, telling the story of an unapologetic lothario who breaks hearts left and right in Manchester's gay scene - until he goes too far for even his beloved best friends to rescue him.
Landmark twisted British original, beats US series

Honestly never figured out how the US series got as far as it did, though I loved the US cast. This British original series should be held up every time someone even just thinks of the show: The dialogue, the bizarrely off situations and motivations, the hot scenes... This is the original snappy delivery of it all before Hollywood got its derivative fingers in its pie.
It's short, concise, and written w/ a definite ending to it. Better storytelling and acting than the US series, so do yourself a favor and watch the original. Doesn't date itself, still relevant and freaky today (which I don't think I can say about the US series).

What's great about it: Snappy crazy story and characters, the original best writing
I'm usually totally fine w music that's more dependent on an accompanying visual bu t I really thought from watching the movie that I'd be all over this soundtrack. Listening to it on its own wasn't quite so memorable or exiting. But BTW the song titles are a hoot, give the song list a look on the item's info.
If you already have the previous movie's sndtrk I'm not sure you need this one.
What's great about it: The great theme from 1st Abrams movie

Still the adorable Star Wars spoof that made this game so much fun on the handheld touch screens. Cute parodies of all the familiar characters, and also bonus that this one focuses on the original trilogy and not the crapulous prequels. Fun puzzles, frustrating but tantalizing in trying to get the perfect impacts/ destructions. Good: It's on a big screen. You can share it w/ more folks. (Sorry, I didn't try out coop/ competitive modes w/ anyone at this time). Bad: Not very precise compared to using your finger on a screen. Also not great for the Kinect control scheme, though there's some novelty to using that. Also, I loved the jokey marching-band music in the games but all the sounds on this disc seem scratchy or glitchy.
I'd recommend it for a real fan, also for anyone who doesn't already have it in their household (eg. if you've got really little kids and you don't want to risk your iPad in their hands).

What's great about it: All the cutesy humor and parodies, all the physics trials
What's not so great: Controls not as precise, sound scratchy/ glitchy
A massive horde of fun-loving zombies has just jumped the fence at the edge of your yard, slowly creeping toward your house. There's only one thing that stands in the way of these brain-eating monsters getting to your own pink, healthy brain — your garden. It seems like an unlikely army, but it's all you've got. Use your leafy arsenal to zap these zombies and defend your home in the Game of the Year award-winning Plants vs. Zombies for Xbox 360.With new multiplayer action for Xbox 360, Plants vs. Zombies will have you fighting alongside a pal to fight the zombies, taking on challenges and even going wall-nut bowling in Co-op mode. When alliances fold, choose to play as plants or zombies and challenge your friend as the opposing force. An all-new mini game, Heavy Weapon, lets you slide your super-powered peashooter from side to side. This game also comes with two bonus games, Peggle and Zuma for even more fun after you've taught those zombies about the power of horticulture.
I totally suck at real-time strategies, but this one roped me in w/ the adorable premise (defend your house/ lawn/ roof from incoming zombies) and art style (great animation, excellent humor throughout, ingenious character/ creature designs). Sounds are great (cutesy muzak, zombie moans).
I'll admit I found the DS and the iPad versions were better suited for plunking things down around the screen and grabbing things off one's menus more accurately in the heat of gameplay. I'd find myself coming back to this XB360 version only after I'd gotten the gist of a level from those other versions; I'd just reached some kind of plateau on some levels w/ the controller controls for the console version.
It's a bargain-priced game collection, ideal for G-rated family fare if that's a concern (ok, maybe not G; you'd have to check yourself if your kids are ok w/ the whole zombie and gore-jokes humor, and PopCap sneaks in some insinuating humor in the other games as well).
My Best Buy number: 2021302712
What's great about it: All the gameplay & style. Collection w/ Zuma & Peggle.
What's not so great: Not all the content of other updated versions. Controller controls are not as zippy as some other versions'.
