I bought this album because I really liked their second album but this one is quite different. It's not as polished but I still enjoy it enough. It's more like a soundtrack to a B-rated horror film. Most people will not enjoy it but it'll make a great addition to the collection for others.
Nirvana's sound has been ripped-off as much as any other great band but nothing compares to Nevermind. No other sound-alikes have had the essential element: Kurt Cobain in his prime. It is said that he was living on the streets the day Nevermind was releases and I'm sure that had allot to do with the rawness of Nirvana's sound. Even though Nevermind was well produced and as clean of a mix as possible in the early 90s, it was the edge that made them great. There has hardly been any other single albums that have changed music as much as Nevermind. Simply classic.
Living with the constant fear of the plague may now seem like a pleasant memory to Isaac Clarke compared to his current reality — fear compounded by the ceaseless terror of the frozen planet Tau Volantis. Teaming up with merciless soldier John Carver may be his only chance of surviving the dangerous planet and the even deadlier evolved enemies that await him there. Stranded on this barren world, he must face an unending stream of lethal enemies, horrifying avalanches, treacherous ice climbs and the brutal elements of the violent wilderness in order to solve the mysteries of the past and find the solution to the Necromorph plague — a solution that is mankind's last hope.Plunge into the frozen world of Dead Space 3 as Isaac Clarke, and use your courage, intelligence and skill to navigate the challenges that lurk around every corner. Explore underworld cities, engage in side missions and put Isaac's engineering skills to the ultimate test in order to build the weapons needed to survive. The weight of human survival rests on your shoulders, but you can enlist the help of your friends with the game's new drop-in and drop-out co-op gameplay. On the terrifying planet of Tau Volantis, you may need all the help you can get.
I loved the first 2 Dead Space games in the same sense that I loved Bioshock 1 and 2. The 2nd added enough upgrades in graphics, story, weapons, etc., but the first will always be best because of the originality. Dead Space 3 added allot to the series with better graphics, a brand new upgrade system, and a whole new environment. However, 3 doesn't have the same claustrophobic feel that the first 2 had and the story, although a good one, doesn't add enough to surpass its predecessors and give a grand ending to the trilogy. I'm sure they will make Dead Space 4 for PS4 so a true ending wasn't entirely necessary though. If you liked the first 2, you will also enjoy 3. The weapons, aiming, creepy story and enemies, and all other features Dead Space games are known for are all here.
This is the perfect version of Grindhouse that many people have been waiting for. All the intermission trailers and even an extra fan-created trailer are included. Tons of bonus material not included in the dvd versions and extras for the trailers make this a must have for all fans of the movie experience of Grindhouse. I saw it in the theater and watching the two movies back-to-back with all intermission material is the best way to see it. This is the only version sold in stores that let you experience it that way. Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino are truly great filmmakers and Grindhouse is a great example of what a movie experience can be like outside the normal hollywood setup.
What's great about it: Exceptional movies, all extras included
