I got this joystick years ago and it still works great. I bought HAWX a few months ago and have been loving the joystick since it's fully compatible with the game. I had to change around a few buttons to get it to work to my liking, but overall I'm completely satisfied. I'm confused with the PS2's USB capability, but I'm sure that if I did it right I could set it up to play Ace Combat 0 on the PS2, which would OWN.
Of course, it has some downsides. While it's widely compatible, it's a tad difficult to control and takes a while to get used to. I notice that it shifts around slightly when I'm forced to suddenly change direction, which throws me off a lot. If it were a bit heavier, it probably wouldn't shift as much, and the joystick would be easier to control. It's also a bit stubborn depending on the platform that it's on.
Overall it's a great product for its price, and while I'm considering getting a more realistic joystick for Christmas, I'll still love this if I don't get one.
What's great about it: Pretty great price, very durable
What's not so great: Shifts slightly when thrusting in an alternate direction, somewhat difficult to control
