With this Insignia™ NS-PU95203 cable adapter, you can add a VGA port to your computer and connect an additional monitor to expand your display. The USB connector makes it easy to hook up to your computer.

Didn't work. Plugged it in to a USB 3, only gave me low resolution. Not wide screen. No support when I called in trying to get it fixed.
The quality feels extremely cheap and I have no doubt this thing wouldn't last very long even if it did work. Save yourself some time and headache and get a better version (I bought the next one on the list the j5create and it worked right out of the box without issues, their tech support answered after 3 rings and helped me with a minor issue. Much better!)

Perfect replacement power cable for my macbook. Tried another brand and the connection seemed to come in and out and stopped charging it.
Quality is excellent. Feels like heavy material.

The USB 2.0 VGA Display Adapter acts as an external graphics card for your Mac or PC. It allows you to add an additional VGA display through your USB 2.0 port. There’s no need to open your computer to add an expensive graphics card. With this adapter, you simply load the drivers, plug the adapter into the USB port, plug the VGA monitor cable into the adapter and you are ready to go. The Display Adapter supports three viewing modes. Primary Mode allows you to have individual applications open on each monitor, vastly improving productivity. Extended Mode allows you to extend your desktop across multiple displays, which can be great for spreadsheets. Mirroring Mode is used to clone one screen onto another, which can be ideal for presentations.

I had been using another popular brand's external display adapters for about six months. After numerous replacements and calls to the manufacturer I finally decided to try something else. I picked up 3 of these and they work great!
Right out of the box I could tell they were high quality - made of aluminum instead of cheap plastic. The installation was much easier than the previous product. I called customer support to ask about drivers and they answered on the second ring and answered my questions immediately.
Highly recommend this product and other j5 create products. Hope to see more from them soon!
What's great about it: Aluminum casing, great customer support, performance
What's not so great: That I didn't buy this sooner!
I would recommend this to a friend!
