Typically I'm a fan of the over the ear headphones, but these looked awesome and had decent reviews. The noise canceling is there even though they are not advertised as such. The magnets in the headphones provide a much more than average sound. They are comfortable and I love the bluetooth feature for when I play my drums. Highly recommend.

I bought beats from Best Buy but now my wire is not working can I buy a new wire from Best Buy ?

You cannot. The Beats headphones are notorious for having problems with being physically insufficient. You might be able to find an electrical friend to replace the cable. But best buy will definitely not have a replacement.

Beats By Dre
I recently bought some Beats by Dre Studio 2.0 on bestbuy.com, they were an open box item, am I able to buy a protection plan from Best Buy to insure I am covered if my Beats were to break?
You cannot purchase this from best buy. While best buy does offer Apple care now, which can be fulfilled at best buy and apple stores, the apple care option is not available in their point of sale system with the beats headphones for unknown reasons. Potentially because of Apple's acquisition of Beats more recently and also because beats have had a bad rep of just being physically unsound as of late.

Why aren't beats covered under the two year warranty like the other headphones I've brought in the past?
Because they are an apple product now which all have a one year limited warranty. You also cannot purchase apple care on them because of the acquisition of this company by apple. If its a warranty that stands out that you're after, you should try bose headphones. Quality is way higher and the sound is on point with Beats. Hope this helps
