Damaged TV
My 2005 Samsung projection (I purchased it for $2500) 62" TV tipped over and now I am getting some wierd lines at the top of the screen. Is it worth it to have a technician come out and try to repair it or should I just assume it will be more than replacing it?
Well if you can find someone that will give you a free estimate then yeah call a technician to check it out. However, yeah it would probably be more expensive than either getting a new one or say if it was like $800 or more then why fix it? Just get a new one. The newer LCD,LED,etc. TVs are way better than the older projection TVs anyways. But yeah get a free estimate first if possible and if you can't get a free estimate.....then just get a new one. Also, keep in mind an estimate is just that...an estimate/could be more or less when your TV is actually repaired.
