I have owned this unit for about a year and a half now, and have had nothing but trouble with it. The bracket broke about 6 months into it (replaced by warranty), despite light use, the wifi and bluetooth connection has never worked right. There are issues with getting the fan at the bottom to correctly fit into the opening at the bottom of the metal cylinder. Also, for pieces that are supposedly designed to be submerged under water, they have too many nooks and crannies that make it difficult to clean out mineral deposits. And now, as a last straw, it's started beeping in the middle of cooking for no reason at all (and yes, I checked water levels). Great idea, but really poor execution.

good size, terrible tip connection

I bought this as an emergency replacement for a lost OEM charger while on a business trip. I was drawn to the slim size, which also means slim weight and i definitely appreciate especially while travelling. It also has a longer cable than the original charger did, which I also like.
HOWEVER, the huge problem I have with this charger is that the tip fits way too loosely on the cord. It is constantly falling off leaving my laptop "plugged in" to nothing, so I often think I am plugged in and charging, only to get a nasty low battery warning. To add insult to injury, the tip connects at a 90 degree angle, so it is impossible to tape or otherwise secure the tip on (without glueing it together which I'm not yet ready to do).
The pros of this unit just don't make up for the flaw that it doesn't accomplish it's designed function very well at all. :(

Another drive with deceptive storage

8gb drive has less than 7.5gb. This seems to be the standard for USB drives (to advertise more storage space than it actually has), but is my peeve. Low rating due to manufacturers refusing to honestly advertise drive space. Item was returned (I needed at least 7.75 gb).
What's great about it: unknown
What's not so great: Storage
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cute design, but deceiving capacity

I ordered the drive to create a restore media for my netbook, which needs 7.7GB. I figured I was safe with 8GB, even if a few MB are taken up, which they always are. However, this drive comes with only 7.25 GB max. 8GB is deceiving.
That said, it was recognized quickly, and I like the flip design. Also comes with URDrive (http://www.kingston.com/us/usb/urdrive) which I won't have a chance to play with because I'm returning this drive, but looks like it might be useful. I can't give it anymore than one star, though, because of the deceptive advertising.
What's great about it: flip design, quickly recognized
What's not so great: does NOT have 8GB capacity
