I've had this phone for a few days and absolutely LOVE it! I've owned several top tier premium phones; iPhone, Samsung Note, etc and this Sony is in the same class as those. It's at least as fast as an S8 for 1/3 the price. The screen is bright with good colors, but not as good as a new model iPhone or S8 (again, 1/3 the price though). The camera takes amazing pictures; very sharp as expected from a 23MP f/2.0 lens. Not as vibrant as the Samsung camera but more true to life. Battery life is good; easily lasting a full day of normal to heavy use.

Best Smartphone Available!

I've had the Note 3 since it was released and it is the best smartphone for sale today in my opinion. I had an original Note and switched to an iPhone 5, then back to the Note 3. It's faster than any phone I've ever seen or used, has a beautiful display that's great for reading, web browsing, videos and games (full HD). It does better in daylight than any phone I've used also. The phone is incredibly fast also; at least 3x faster than the iPhone 5. The AirGesture and SmartScroll features are useful and work better than I expected. The camera takes very good pictures in decent light, but I wish there was an auto HDR option available. I also find I'm using S-Pen more with this Note; it's much better integrated and functional than the original version. Call quality is very good, as is MP3 playback; the tube amp setting works quite well. It I also got a Galaxy Gear and the pair work together very very well for how I use them. Outstanding phone; you won't be sorry if you get one!
What's great about it: Speed, screen, battery life, features, ease of use.
What's not so great: Nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to use and very useful!

I've had the Gear for a little over a week now and love it. The notifications are very useful; I don't have to take the phone out to see if it's an urgent email / txt. Answering and making calls from the watch is very easy and the sound quality is much better than expected. The eBay app works well also. The camera takes better pictures than I expected; and the integration with the Note 3 is flawless. The customizable watch faces are nice as well. There needs to be more apps for it, which I'm sure will happen over time. The battery life is better than I expected; I can get 2 days from it with normal use. Overall it's a great companion device!
What's great about it: Notfications, answer calls, voice control
What's not so great: Needs more apps
I would recommend this to a friend!

Will the current Samsung Gear be compatible with S4?
The Samsung Gear know clearly says for Note 3. I was going to go ahead an order this one, but scared that it would be another model that comes out for the S4. Will it be safe for me to go ahead an order this model for my S4?
Yes, Samsung has guaranteed that a software update to allow the S4 to work with the Gear will be out soon.

what is the maxium distance the watch can be from the galaxy note ,and still recieve calls and texts
i am a UPS driver i cant keep my phine attached to me ,however i can keep the watch on. i am sometimes up to 200 feet away from my truck where the galaxy note would be .would still like the watch to receive calls and texts
It won't go that far unfortunately. I've gotten about 30-40 feet from it but that's all.

What is AMD V series Processeor V-140
It's an entry level CPU used in lower price laptops. Its roughly equivalent to an Intel Celeron, but at a lower cost. It's a single core CPU, so it would be adequate for general computing, web browsing, etc.
