was it as good as the first? well, it's different. the first was the first, but this was different—with kind of an ensemble cast, still violent with bad language—a very good follow up to the first.
As a follow up to a prequel, this movie combines both original older versions of the xmen as well as their younger selves from the last movie, making for one of the most unique and interesting sequels to a prequel ever,
Even though I still consider her first album her best, I liked this better than her 2nd album—seems to have a bit more substance and artistry than 2nd… (I only got the standard ed. and not the deluxe edition)
It's rare for me to give a full five stars, but this has always been one of my favorite bands—very underated and way better than their singles—and I was sad to hear they had broken up after only three albums. When I saw they got back together after all these years to put this fourth out, I was so excited. Still has their Eve6 sound, while still sounding different than their previous stuff.
I bought this album mainly so I could get the audio of their concert on my iPod. I already got the video, but you can't rip a dvd like you can a cd. plus, there are extra songs not on the dvd!

…well actually, the length is normal, but me being such a longtime, hardcore duran fan, I would have preferred it longer. great mix of old and new, and they always keep their stage presence interesting.
From the producers of supernatural classics Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, the first season of Grimm follows Nick Buckhardt (David Giuntoli), a Portland homicide detective, as he adjusts to the discovery of his fantastical heritage. Descended from a long line of "Grimms", Buckhardt is responsible to help balance humanity from the creatures of myth and monsters of the ancient society by using his newfound powers to sense evil lurking in the human world.
A very good twist on the old grimm fairy tales in modern day portland. Very cool story arc that sometimes gets bogged down by the various cases in each episode—but at least most of these cases are interesting—and I guess it's just the nature of today's episodic TV shows that the overall story arc has to stretch out, but this show definitely makes it worth it.
