Great so far
on May 14, 2016

So far this computer has been fantastic. I originally wanted to build my own computer and select very high end components for it. Right when I was ready to pull the trigger I found out about the Nvidia gtx 1080 being released within a few months. I didn't want to shell out 3 or 4 thousand dollars on a super high end gaming pc and then have my GPU's be outdated in a few months, but I wanted a gaming PC that would hold me over until the 1080 comes out and that I could upgrade.
Enter the BB904. This appears to be a Best Buy exclusive (hence the BB in the model number) and I can't find any reviews or other info anywhere else about it, but so far this thing is great. I came from a Asus pre built PC with a GTX 680, i7 920 and 8 gigs of DDR3. This feels like a huge step up. I am getting about 90 FPS in the DOOM reboot with everything maxed, 65ish in The Witcher 3 with everything on high or about 45-60 with everything on ultra and 60+ on Fallout 4 with everything maxed. That's all I've played so far and I haven't overclocked anything. My temps are all normal and the system has been 100% stable with no crashes or issues.
One thing I will note, the 8 gig memory stick comes installed in the wrong socket. The motherboard manual (the MOBO is a Asus H170-PRO for those who want to know) states that the stick needs to be installed in the DIMM A2 socket (second one from the left). Mine was in the DIMM A1 socket, as was the floor model at BestBuy. A guy from the geek squad actually pointed this out to me when I bought the PC and after reading the manual when I got home, he was right. Not sure why IBP installs the memory in the wrong slot but it's no big deal... it takes 10 seconds to move it.
Other than that... this thing is a great computer that's ready to game right out of the box with no overclocking needed. It will run any game out there with all the settings maxed or nearly maxed at 60+ FPS in 1080p. I'll be picking up a 1440p monitor soon to see how it performs and I'll update the review with the results. There is also plenty of room to upgrade and add more memory with this case (made by NZXT), which is the only thing I'd suggest people do when they buy the PC... even though 8 gigs is enough for gaming. The case would be considered a mid tower case and the airflow is really good with plenty of room to add more fans.
One last thing, the price. The price isn't bad at all for a pre built PC. If you add up the components for a build you may end up getting a little bit higher end components by building it yourself but you're gonna pay close to the same price if not a little bit more. Plus you do the labor, installs, updates, troubleshooting for any issues etc. This really is a really great computer for a good price.
Enjoy!

Best version of best trilogy ever!

After the huge debacle over the first blu ray release of the Lord of The Rings theatrical versions, here it is... the Extended Editions of the best movies ever made (in my opinion). Let me star off by addressing the one thing that some people have a hard time getting through their heads... I know that Blu Ray discs have a much higer storage capacity than DVD's, I know this set is on 15 discs and I also know you must get off your couch and change the disc ONE TIME during a four hour movie. My question is, what's the big deal? Come on people, you are getting superior video/audio quality, you are getting probably the best set of special features/commentaries/making of/behind the scenes content on any movie of all time and your getting it at a very reasonable price!
I personally am very happy they have put these on 2 discs, it just means the video/audio quality is going to be outstanding and isn't that more important?
Is it really that big of a deal that there are a lot of discs? I mean really, can you logically explain why that is such a horrible dilemma? Also, if you can't manage to get up one time and take 3 minutes to swap a disc then flop back down on your couch then something is wrong.
Just enjoy the movies guy's... this is probably the last version of these films they will release and the best version and the only version needed. Long live Lord of The Rings!
What's great about it: Superior video/audio, best movies of all time, best version of films
What's not so great: Nothing!!

Different but FUN

People who are reviewing this game and giving it 1 star are rediculous because they are reviewing the product because they rushed out and bought the game without even reading or knowing anything about the game. Yes, it's a bit different that the other Sims titles. Its more of an RPG than the Sims type game but its so much fun! If you like fantasy type, medieval RPGs and even if you like the Sims and can actually have an OPEN MIND you will find a very fun, long lasting, beautiful game to enjoy here. And to all you people who are complaing about it not being a sims 3 expansion pack, next time you will learn to research the game or accept that games go through changes FOR THE BETTER.
What's great about it: A new direction, fun, beautiful graphics, Great Medieval/Fantasy setting
What's not so great: People giving it bad reviews because they didn't get the Sims 3 part 2

Experience the lifelike thrill of virtual reality with the Oculus Rift. The remote, OLED display and IR LED sensor help you navigate through virtual worlds, while rotational and positional tracking let you play exclusive games like Lucky's Tale. The clear, high resolution on the Oculus Rift takes you even closer to reality.

Very restrictive
By Unhappy
Well I bought the rift in store and was excited to hook everything up. Little to my surprise I could not install software because my graphics card was not in the recommended specs, mind you Its a gaming card r9 280. If oculus is being so restrictive with their software then I can only imagine game content will need to be channeled through them and them only to use the hardware. So I spared myself the headache and returned it. Im looking into the HTC vive since its less restrictive.

You're a fool
July 10, 2016
How are you going to give a product a bad review because you spent $600 on something without checking the specifications to run it? They are listed everywhere online (and probably on the packaging) and there are numerous websites, including oculus' website, that allow you to download a program that scans your computer hardware and tells you if you are equipped to handle VR. Yet you bypass all these options, plump down $600 on something and then leave it a bad review because you haven't upgraded your PC or even done the simplest research to see if it's compatible. You Sir, are a fool.
