Talk about timing: One of my old monitors started dying one me, and Best Buy's deal of the day was for a this monitor. Great tming Best Buy.
Anyway: The monitor works just fine: But the best thing was just how easy it set up with the older Power Mac that I have downstairs. I just plugged it in. I didn't even have to mess with any of the internal monitor settings. There was software included but I didn't need to use it.

We got this for my Partner's mother and she loves it. It's very easy to use. Our Samsung player (which is many years older) switches the input and even turns on our TV when we turn it on so we where a little dissapointed that her player didn't switch the input over on her Samsung TV when the player is switched on. But otherwise it's worked out really well for her.

I bought this to try and help consolidate my Mother's 3 remotes and make life easier for her. Unfortunately out of her three devices, it wouldn't control one of them and I took it back for that reason.
But just becuase this remote didn't controll all of my mother's devices, doesn't mean it wont control yours.
For 15 dollars it was worth trying and if it does control all your devices, it's nice affordable solution.
What I liked about this remote is that every function is clearly marked and easy to read with big button (which is good for an elderly person)

I got this item as a special black friday deal. If I had paid full price, I would have been dissapointed that it didn't come with a charger stand. That is it's biggest drawback, but since I paid half price, I don't feel to bad about it. Other than that, this razor give a very nice close shave.....Also it's easy to rinse clean. I have used other razors from Norelco that you can rinse and they didn't rinse clean as well as this one does (this I feel has a lot to do with it's deeper more bowl like design on the interior which you won't notice till you open it up).

My opinion on this second installment in this series is the same as the first.
Scanned from the best possible source material, these are the best these cartoons have ever looked...It's just too bad they didn't take the extra time and expense to clean up the film grain and restore the original opening and closing titles.
On the upside: none of these cartoons are censored (but if they do this on any future volumes I will stop buying them). It's nicely packaged (once again the slip case is nicely designed) and they are at least in chronological order.
Maybe someday someone will do a proper release but not buying these will only send a message that there is no audience for restored vintage cartoons like this.

This is no novelty project. Elvis Costello, one of the best songwriters of the 20th Century and Hip Hop band/collective The Roots (Some of you might know them better as the house band on Jimmy Fallon). Team up to make one of the best albums I have heard all year. Every song on this album is Amazing. The Deluxe Edition features 3 extra tracks that are as good as the album tracks. The Deluxe Edition also comes with a mammoth booklet of lyrics and pictures (over 40 pages) and includes an essay and studio notes. The cover says "Number One", so I hope there is a Number 2!

When we set up my roomates mother with a Roku media player, we needed to get an internet router in order to get it to work. This fit the bill nicely and was very affordable priced. She is just using it to stream content on the Roku and it is working really well with no trouble.

My mother still uses a CD player and her last 5 disc player finally died on her after years of continuous use (It was sony also).
Just like the last one, this one was easy to set up and get her started on.
Best Buy has a cheaper model, but I reccomend this one for it's long life and reliability.

Get a close, comfortable shave with this Philips Norelco 6945XL/41 electric shaver that features a flexing head to follow the contours of your face. A single charge provides up to 30 minutes of shaving time for reliable extended use.

Timing is everything: Best Buy did a special deal of the day on this model, just as my current Norelco was finally dying out. At such a low cost I figured I couldn't go wrong (and I didn't) and that at the least it would get me by till I found a good deal on something better.
This is a good low cost electric razor and will get me by till I find something better. It gets the job done. The only drawback is there is no side burns trimmer. But for the low price paid ($25 deal of the day) I can't complain

This release from classic animated starlet Betty Boop offers a collection of 12 of the character's classic shorts originally released from 1932-1937, all produced by Max Fleischer and directed by his brother Dave Fleischer.

While these are scanned in from the best possible source material. There has been no attempt at restoration. No cleaning up of the film scratches, no restoration of the original opening and closing titles (The original film titles where changed when they where sold to TV). They could have at least restored the original opening and closing film titles (they do exist).

No extras. No commentary tracks from animation historians. No extra onus features. There are only 12 cartoons in this set and quite frankly a little something extra would have been nice and made this set a better value for the money that they are charging.
THE VERDICT
If you are an animation fan or Betty Boop fan: GET IT.

I have to admit, I almost didn't get this because it was such a bare bones release with only 12 cartoons for 25 dollars.
The price point for this package was "almost" unacceptable, and I have heard that some animation fans are not buying it for that reason.
But we need more vintage animation restoration releases and not buying this will only send a message that there is not enough market to justify doing it (as opposed to sending a message that these releases need to be done properly....which they do).

What's the maximum number of tracks on one cd that this will play?
If, using my computer, I burn a cd using songs on my vinyl records, is there a maximum number of tracks that this will play or, if I use all of the cd space, will it play all of them even if it's 40, 50 or more?
A CD player should be able to play as many tracks that will fit on the CD so long as your CDR has the room to play them. If your CD player has trouble playing a CDR it would have more to do with that individual CDR than the amount of tracks on it.
