HP Lemon

It might be that my local store was given the lemon batch or is possible that HP has a bad product on their hands with this one.
I switched over to using HP products when Sony quit making the desktop versions, so it's been some time now that I have been using the HP products. As of late it would seem as though HP has taken the lower road with quality on their computers. This would seem to be no exception. I first purchased this computer on October 17th and right out of the box it had a bad hard drive and would not boot up. Returned it within an hour and picked up the 2nd one. Now not even 60 days later after sluggish and occasional freezing up when rebooting the 2nd one has had the hard drive die and won't boot up. Will be returning this one also and will go another route as local store does not carry it anymore.
I don't hold this against Best Buy and would not speak against the service I receive from them but I can't speak highly of HP as this was replacing a desktop that did not even make it a full 3 years which was also an HP.
When the computer was running it was a nice machine. Just can't live with replacing or returning a computer so quickly as were not paying bottom price for a bottom line computer here.

If you like Duck Dynasty then you will also like this Christmas video. It's full of the usual Duck humor and again like the show, Si makes it that much funnier.
What's great about it: Good family fun humor

great buy

I purchased this memory module to increase memory on my machine. Simple to install and then just start up.
I would caution only one thing. Be aware of what operting system you have on your system as each OS can only have a maximum amount of aloud memory usage. Just because your computer says memory can be upgraded there are limits assoiciated within the OS. see http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa366778(v=vs.85).aspx
I purchased this 16 GB so I could remove the 10 GB i had to place in another computer I am upgrading that only had 4 GB memory
What's great about it: easy install
What's not so great: nothing wrong with item

Not worth it

While the movie is a great movie, don't buy the 3D steelbook version as there must be a manufacturing problem. I have already returned it once because the 3D version will not play. Waited 20 minutes to get a new one and go home to have the identicle issue happen. Will now wait to return a 2nd time so as to try the non-steelbook version. Not alot of fun waiting to return to have the same thing happen.
I know it's not the player as all my other 3D movies still work fine, just not this video. The Blu-Ray works great just not the 3D

further update on issue, it would appear as this is only the case with the Samsung blu-ray 3D player. Just before the movie starts the disc will kick you automatically back to 2D mode and it's at this point the problem occurs. Even if you have auto 3D turned on player the system freezes. Best Buy tech thinks it to be a firmware issue from Samsung. Yet to hear an answer from Samsung on issue.
