My 3rd Cybershot ... Sony Still Brings It.

So.
I've been buying Cybershots since they were $400. Getting this one for $89.99 was spectacular. The build quality is obviously cheaper (plastic case vs aluminum, etc), but the camera still does the job. I didn't miss the viewfinder at all. Also, the old Cybershots used to have a nasty habit of getting dust in (and I mean inside) the lens mechanism. This doesn't seem to be the case anymore.
On this purchase, I was very tempted by the Canon and Nikon equivalents. While those may be fine cameras, the Cybershot did the job just fine.
I recently returned from southeast Asia where I put this camera through it's paces. And it did fine. It is nice how easy it is to change camera settings in between shots to alter shot settings and to take advantage of some of the gimmick features (some of my fellow travelers with their $800 SLRs couldn't even change their ISOs as fast as I could change to the "part color" gimmick feature). Which, by the way, the "part color" was my favorite gimmick feature. Having the ability to shoot only red, or blue, or yellow as the only color in the photo makes for awesome art.
On top of that, the thing fit right in my pocket the whole time, reducing my tourist look.
With respect to picture quality, it's decent for a point-and-shoot. As with all models in this range, the range of contrast, particularly in low-to-mid light situations can be a bit weak. And in low-mid light situations, some grainyness will occur. Also, color saturation can be muted at times (but there is a gimmick feature called "Pop" that tends to fix this ... just don't forget to turn it off when you do have a color saturated subject matter, or you will have a color explosion on your hands). Also, I really wish these point-and-shoots would give you a larger range of aperture settings. It would improve the contrast problems and allow you to play with the field of focus a little more. But hey, $89.99.
Also, the panoramic sweep mode is awesome for beach shots or nature shots (although pixel quality goes way down).
Overall, I was very happy with this point-and-shoot and it's durability during my travels. It will probably not be my last Cybershot.
What's great about it: Great Picture Quality, Lots of Options that are easy to use
What's not so great: Some pics can appear "washed out" and with little contrast
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worth the MMoney

I mean, they're $15, what can you expect. I have a pair of these in my bathroom and I listen to mostly talk radio while prepping for the day (or night). I also listen to music occasionally, and they're loud enough to rock a bathroom.
The overall sound quality is poor if your an audiophile, but I don't know what you would expect for $15. I have expensive speakers for other locations in the house for good sound quality. Overall, a good pair of speakers for an application where sound quality is not a concern.
What's great about it: Price
What's not so great: Sounds Like Microwaved Lasanga
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best Keyboard ... Ever
on March 2, 2011

I have been typing for work and school for over 15 years now. And this is the best keyboard I've ever used. And I've used a lot of keyboards, from the standard issue wired, finger-joint mangler to expensive wireless keyboards with scissor keys.
This keyboard is very nice. The keys are well spaced and the scissor-key action requires minimal finger pressure and is extremely accurate. The wireless connection is strong and doesn't miss any typed keys. The legs appear flimsy, but are actually pretty strong. The keyboard is almost flat with the desktop, so you don't have to raise your fingers very high, reducing joint pain and potential carpel tunnel. Plus, it's wireless, so you can remove it from the desk quickly and cleanly for editing. The shortcut keys are very logical, helpful, and functional.
The best part though, and the part that returns excitement to something as mundane as a keyboard, is the solar panels. They effectively recharge the internal battery and you never need to change the batteries. Plus, the downloadable solar app and little "I'm getting enough light" smiley face are actually a good deal of fun to fool with (for a keyboard).
Paid $59.99 on sale, so, even better...
What's great about it: key action and spacing, solar recharge, shortcut keys
What's not so great: Nothing

Works Well, But Hard on Fingers and Joints!
on October 20, 2010

The keyboard and mouse work well enough. I never experience any interference or missed key strokes/mouse clicks. The CAPS indicator light is sweet for a wireless board.
However, this set's Achilles heal is that the keys are extremely hard to push. I didn't notice it at first, but after two weeks, my fingers are experiencing a surprising amount of pain (I'm 31 ... no arthritis, etc). I have used a keyboard daily for work since 2004, and this is the first one that I can remember that makes my fingers ache after typing for a few hours. The key action is smooth enough, but the keys require a good deal of finger pressure to depress. If you like a scissor-stroke type board and light action, I recommend another keyboard.
What's great about it: General Operation, CAPS indicator
What's not so great: Hard-to Push Keys!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
