I did not want to spend too much money on a guest room TV so I purchased this Insignia with Roku w/out knowing this brand. I did not even research this product. I just went and bought it because of sale price compared with branded TV is so much cheaper. Now that my teen age daughter got it all assembled and set-up, all I can say is WOW. It may not have all the bells and whistles of other high end smart TVs but this one delivers and does what it's supposed to do - brilliant picture, sound quality is good, smart function of the Roku is good and over all performance is great. I think my guests will be impressed.

I purchased one to use for my smart TV (Sharp LC series) and (Samsung J series) Bluray player's built in web browser. It connected and detected by both automatically. Works well with no issue. Great for occasional web browsing on your smart TV or Smart player with built-in web browser. Be reminded though that web browsing on built-in web browser of smart TVs or players are slower than on your smart phone, computers, or iPads.

Simple and easy initial set-up. 3D is available if I wanted to use that feature. Up-scaling to "near - UHD" of none HD videos like regular DVDs work but of course ONLY up to the maximum resolution of your TV or projector. Never the less, any picture are displayed beautifully.
I also tested to connect a wireless keyboard with touch pad like Logitech K400 and it works - so using the Samsung's web browser feature was nice.
For me, the best feature to mention is the HDMI - CEC connection. When connected to a TV with HDMI-CEC connection like Sharp 4K, the remote control pairs very well, so using only one remote instead of 2 is very convenient. See my other review if you are interested in a 4K TV - Sharp LC-65N7000U. Logitech K400 wireless keyboard w/ touch pad is only $20.

I was pleasantly surprised to learn about this devise online when I was researching for a solution to add Ethernet hookup instead of wifi to solve buffering issue. My router is getting too much traffic from all our devises. I checked the list of all hooked up on my router and everything were legit. So I have to look for a solution on how to add another "line" or "freeway" to ease up on the wifi traffic. This devise solved my problem and I was extremely surprised at how easy it is to set-up. Besides having 2 Ethernet connection which I initially needed, this devise created another wifi channel and extended my wifi range.

Under-rated UltraHD - my Best Buy entry level 4K

I've read a lot of reviews, did my own research, looked at all the big screen TVs on display at BestBuy and finally settled on this Sharp 4K TV. I considered all brand names but realized the best value for my money is with this Sharp LC-65N7000U. It is sufficiently adequate for my personal use of casual over-the-air and movie viewing. While the set was impressive at the store, out-of-the-box video setting was the opposite when I set it up at home. I had to work with the set-up a little to get it up to my personal preference. There are 6 picture modes of which "Game" mode got the best setting for my preference without further tweaking, which I can still do with this TV. Although I have external speaker set-ups available, I did not need it. This TV has dbx-tv audio enhancements which give sound-bar-quality audio from the built-in speakers (total of 30 watts – highest per my research). dbx-tv includes Total sonics that optimizes the overall sound quality by increasing bass, makes dialog clear and natural, and widening the sound field, it has Total Surround, and Total Volume that maintains consistent sound level within input changes. Also has Dolby Digital Plus, 4K upscaler, dual band wifi, dynamic contrast picture, new HDR processing, local dimming from full-array LED, and built-in web browser to which I was able to connect a Logitech K400 wireless keyboard with touch pad.
This TV has HDMI-CEC connection which lets you hook-up CEC certified Bluray or other devices with ease so you can use one remote to turn on/off the system, CEC also allows you play your choice of media/device and this Sharp TV switches automatically to that device to play on the screen. You do not need to tinker with settings to switch media source, plus the dbx-tv’s Total Volume maintains the sound level so there’s no abrupt change in volume level. You can also set-up your own cable or sattlite remote to pair with this Sharp so you can use just one remote to control your cable box and TV.
Overall, this TV is amazing for its price, features and performance. The premium sound quality is the result of multiple digital signal processing (DSP) audio enhancement technologies from dbx-tv. I do not need a soundbar. My main criteria when researching for a TV were; picture quality and sound quality - just enough to be able to enjoy a relaxing weekend. Consider your own preference and intended use. If you’re a gamer, this TV is not for you. Upscaling of any video source to nearly 4K works well. The picture is so much improved but be reminded that all manufacturers advertise this hype for their upscaler but "NEARLY" 4K is controversial.
The initial set-up was very easy, too easy in fact that it made me wonder what the other reviewer on here wrote that was difficult. Maybe his review was meant for a different TV. This Sharp TV is quality built comparable to the more expensive Sony, Samsung and LG. This 65" Sharp TV is incredible. The picture is so lifelike. Even when watching digital antenna channels. Blu-ray Discs come to life and pop off the screen. The sound is clear and full. Unlike other tvs I've owned, this one is consistent from channel to channel. I put on the wall with a tilt mount and even with Windows behind me, there is very little glare on the screen. Install and setup was a breeze. I did my research and I'm glad I settled on this model.

Your review was helpful. I was initially looking to buy an LG and also considered Sony, Vizio, and Samsung, but after my up-close and personal comparison of the other brands, this Sharp model won me over. I can't find warrant to pay extra $400 for the other TVs. The Vizio was close but there was no full remote control and no RF connector.

to cruz - I meant to say serious gamer on-line or pc/game boxes that demands higher refresh rate like 240 Hz and up. Although this TV can handle those games, it may show some jitters or trailing from fast action scenes. This TV has active refresh rate of 60 Hz enhanced electronically to 120 Hz via Sharp aquomotion. For regular action games that's not too demanding, this TV can deliver very well.

Can all HDMI inputs be programmed to have Audio Return Channel?
TV only comes with one HDMI input with ARC. Can the other 2 be programmed through the settings to have audio return channel, also?
No, only HDMI with ARC v1.4 and higher CEC versions will work if you are trying to connect your source to soundbar or A/V receiver. The other HDMI connections are the v1.0 - 1.3. ARC feature was only added on the v1.4 HDMI as far as I can understand and older HDMI can not be programmed to higher versions.

Will this keyboard work with a 2010 60" Sharp Smart TV as long as it has a usb port?
Not completely sure with a 2010 Sharp smart TV but mine connected without issues on my Sharp LC series TV. Check if you can update your TV's software, and hopefully it may detect it. Another solution is to upgrade your disc player if you haven't yet. I got a Samsung with built in web browser and it connected well w/out problem. Got my keyboard on sale $20 - so I was not worried if it didn't work for me, but luckily it did. Sharp TV rules!
