Great Headset!

I have used many gaming headset over time and can never quite find one that works well for everything I need.
I mainly play games on consoles but do occasionally use my PC. I also occasionally use headphone while watching movies and listening to music.
I had used a pair of the Kraken Pro before this newest revision, and did not like them, the headset wasnt very comfortable and the sound was too muddy and bass heavy. So I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and saw the new design.
Immediately I could feel the difference in comfort level.
I was still a bit worried that the sound would be the same and too bassy with the mids and high being very muddy.
So I was pleasantly surprised when I started listening to some music and it sounded much clearer than the previous ones.

I will say they still are a bit bass heavy and the mids and highs are not as clear as I would like them to be, but they are a huge improvement over what I had heard on the previous version of these headphones.
If your looking for a good pair of headphones that wont break the bank in terms of cost I would check these out.

Better Than Expected

I am always one of those people that when you hear everyone talking about how good something is I think there has to be some flaw or it cant be that good.
I can easily say I was wrong about the quality and performance from this Dyson.
it easily has more power and better suction than any other vacuum I have ever owned.
while is does have some quirks. I can easily say that this is the best vacuum i have ever had. Its surprising how much this vacuum picks up of my ground even when I vacuum everyday.
I highly recommend anyone looking for a vacuum to seriously give Dyson a shot.

Good but Not Great Wi-Fi Network

To say i was excited to set up the Linksys Velop system would be a bit of an understatment. I have a two story Townhouse and The internet upstairs can be a bit shoddy, using an extender doesnt do much help as the best area to plug it in are areas that I dont have plugs.
So needless to say mesh networks seemed to be the best way for me.

Set Up-
Setting up the routers and getting them online is a very easy process using the app on my smartphone. The only problem was as i was setting up the node that would connect to my modem, I received a phone and a text while the app was running and the app hardlocked on me.
Once i restarted the app I noticed my network was setup and working, I was getting the internet on my phone. problem was if i tried to add another node it would fail constantly. So I had to completely reset the original node (which is a bit too easy and makes me worry of someone accidently resetting it all back)
after that I re ran the app to set up the network. this time no crashes and was able to add all of the other nodes.

Now to actual network performance, so far I have seen some good and bad. yes my network range has increased tremendously, but in my downstairs area where everything was much closer to my old router I have seen a bit of dip in performance. When i first start up streams it takes a little bit of time to get stable and move up to HD. once it starts I do not have any issues, but I never had issues like this with my old router.
Now upstairs I am definitely getting better service. the speeds and connection up there are much better than they were before.
I only have one device that I use upstairs often that we need the internet, and my router took a bit longer upstairs but still got the job done.
The fact that my speed seem to be a bit slower downstairs where most of my stuff is kinda bugs me. not to mention each node only has to ethernet ports. makes it difficult to hardwire anything without buying a switch.

Depending on your situation and how your internet is being used you might not see a big difference switching to routers like these, but if your someone that has a pretty big space and needs the internet to reach as much of it as possible this would be a good buy.

Excellent Cameras That Are Easy To Set Up

I thought Netgear claim that these cameras are easy to set up and use was not going to be true. I am glad to admit that i was very wrong.
Compared to most tech products these are one of the easiest things I have ever had to set up.
I plugged everything in started the app and within minutes had a live feed of the camera.
Near our doorway of our front entrance and it was perfect. we do not have many people come by besides the mail man or us and every time someone passed by and the camera activated I would get a message and be able to log on and immediately see what was going on.
All around from the ease of use to quality of the video I am really impressed with the cameras.
Anyone looking for some cameras I would tell them to purchase these.

Great Blender For All Uses

I have had a couple of different blenders in the past, and for most of my cooking I have to use a couple of different appliances. So when I received this blender and first started using it I was so Happy. I was able to put away many of my appliances and just use the blender to prepare my food.
It is very easy to use and works great. It's also very easy to clean.
I cannot recommend this blender enough.

Works Excellent For The Few Tasks It Can Do

Let me start with the positives, I love the simplicity and ease to use the Google Home, It responds well to voice commands, it was easily able to understand my 6 year old son who kept asking as many questions as he could.
The sound is also great you wouldnt expect that quality from something so tiny.
Now to a couple of things I do not like. The amount of commands you can do with it is very limited right now. I have an Sony Tv that uses android tv as its OS but the google home was not able to cast or communicate with it. you also have to be very specific on what you want to do, I wanted to play music on my Chromecast audio that is connected to my home theater system. I had to tell the Home to play music on audio Chromecast, which is not a problem but then to switch music i had to specify which device i wanted that music to play on if not the home would start playing music independently of the Chromecast.
I see the potential in Google Home and I am excited to see what it will be able to do in a couple of months once some updates come in.

A Great First Step

Google First phone is a great, there are very few flaws on the phone and most of them have more to do with android software as a whole than anything in particular about the phone.
The biggest problem the phone has is the small storage space on the phone. I recommend to anyone interested in the phone to get the 128gb version.
I am not saying the 32gb is unusable but if you like to have a lot of media on your phone like videos or music you will run out of space very quickly. Photos are not that big of a deal because google lets you upload and backup at full resolution an unlimited amount of photos and videos.

My only other issue with phone is the design of it. While the phone feels great to hold the actual look is rather uninspiring, most people that saw me with thought at fist it was an Iphone 6 plus. it wasn't until they saw the rear with the fingerprint scanner and partial glass backing could they tell the difference.
Now on to the good, The performance of the phone is great everything is smooth and sleek and runs well. In my time with the phone so far i have not had any stuttering or freezing with any apps.
The Camera on the phone is phenomenal, I have been blown away by the photos i have been able to take. The quickness that the camera app loads and can take photos is great.
Google's first phone is great and it makes me excited to see what they will do in a couple of years.

Small Speaker Big Sound

Over the years I have tried a lot of bluetooth speakers and considering the size of the speaker I was expecting lower quality sound that what I actually heard.
First I want to start of with the construction, the speaker feels good to hold it feels like a well made and sturdy product.
It was also very easy to pair to my phone, it has voice prompts that clearly tell you what device the speaker is paired too and also the battery level.
Now for the most important part the sound. the speaker sounds fantastic at low to medium level volumes. It can get quite loud if you push the volume up to the max but you lose all of your low end and start to hear some distortion. A little over medium was where i found the sweet spot for sound to be, if you have the volume too low the low end sounds seem to overpower and mids or highs. it does not sound bad at lower volumes but I could tell the difference in sound.
Overall I would recommend this product to someone if they would ask me for a good solid sounding bluetooth speaker.

Great hard Floor Cleaner

I have only used the floor cleaner a couple of times so far, but it has worked great and left our floors clean and smelling great. It is very easy to use and works great my only complaint is that depending on the color of your floor it can be difficult to tell how wet it is leaving the floor.
It was Hard to gauge how much i was spraying onto the ground without stopping and felling how wet it was. besides that I have not had any issues. I have 3 little kids that constantly get the floor dirty and we were able to pick up all the gunk and garbage on the ground and leave the floor looking great and also smelling great.

Very Good Laptop Short Of Being Great

I really love this laptop, the speed in which the computer boots up and let me get back into whatever i was doing before i turned off the computer is great.
The design of the laptop if beautiful the fact that it is so light a thin, makes it so easy for me to take with me everywhere I go.

There a couple of issues i do have with the laptop though. the first is the screen while gorgeous is a bit too glossy if you use this anywhere a bit bright you will have a decent amount of glare on the screen.
I have had some issues with some sticky keys on the keyboard,
and also for someone that is unaware the laptop has usb-c connection so you have to use an adapter to connect most of your devices. the laptop does come with one adapter out of the box but I had to switch my different accessories when I was not using them.

Right now only has option for Google Play Music, Youtube Music, Spotify (premium account) and Pandora

yes you need to download the google home app to set up the device.

Yes, The phone comes with an adapter to connect your lightning cable to the Pixel XL. when setting up your phone it will ask if you want to transfer over items from your iphone to the Pixel

It will support two zones, but you need an exterior amp to power the speakers on the second zone.
