Let me start by saying the week in Oct 00 when hybrid theory dropped my best friends mom walked in with it after school and said she got it cause it was 7 bucks and it look cool. So we put it in and I instantly was blown away, having been into other metal band and such of the time it was a lil something different. It was what my 15 yr old self needed to hear and blare. I kinda liked some of Meteora but just didn't feel the same, then after I heard part of reanimation I had pretty much just given up. So I did and quit listening. I heard them on the radio occasionally and was like ok. Liked one track on Minutes, but wasn't inclined for the cd. Fast forward to my 25 yr old self, dad, engaged, starting to slow down....you get the jest. I hear the "The Catalyst " and was like wth are they doin? So I see the vma performance and was like alright yea, I go to best buy, get it and yes sir. Soooo no this is nothing like hybrid Theory or any of the old. This is different yes but everybit as good? Yes. Just as H T was my anthem album of the day many times as i went about with his and that, so i feel this will be now. That was the Lp I needed then, this is what I needed now. If your closed minded bout the band don't buy it otherwise, give it a chance and just sit back and chill with it. Highly Recommend!!
What's great about it: Something different and unexpected but brilliant.
What's not so great: The only complaint if any is it could be a little longer.
