This purposefully eccentric gangster comedy has been given a respectable presentation for its release on DVD. Mad Dog Time (aka Trigger Happy) has been given a full-frame transfer to disc in the aspect ratio of 1.33:1. The film's original English-language soundtrack has been mastered in Dolby Digital 5.1, while a dubbed Spanish version appears in Dolby Digital Surround. Optional subtitles in English, Spanish, and French have also been included, as has the film's original theatrical trailer.
