These speakers sound like nothing else on the market. Do your research, and you will find how pure the sound is from electrostatic speakers, and why audiophiles love them. They look stunning in any room, and work great not only for music but as R-L channels in a home theater setup. I use them for both.
As others have mentioned, these speakers WILL exploit any weaknesses in your system. In other words, don't hook them up to your $250 receiver and expect them to sound great. Great speakers need a great amplifier and clean source... otherwise its like throwing 6 feet of rope to someone who is 10 feet away... it's just a waste.
The other thing that should be mentioned; These speakers have a very distinct (and unfortunately rather small) sweet spot. When you're sitting in your primary viewing/listening position, nothing can touch them for sound quality/clarity. However, if you stand up/walk off to the side, they get muddy. This is the downfall to this type of speaker. Of course all speakers do this to some point, due to the room, reflections, distances, positions of the drivers, etc.... but the ESLs are affected more as you move away from the "sweet spot".
Garmin nüvi 2595LMT Portable GPS: With text-to-speech voice guidance, this GPS makes it easy to reach a variety of locales, even if you're unfamiliar with the roads. If you accidentally miss your turn or would prefer to take another route, automatic rerouting provides new directions from your current location.
I bought a Nuvi 255WT in Feb of 2010. It was time for an upgrade, and I had researched many models, from the three top brands. Although there was some sketchy reviews early on, this 2595LMT has not disappointed. One of the big features for me is the voice recognition, and it works quite well. It's great to be able to just 'tell' the unit where you want to go (an address, a store name, gas station, etc.) without touching little buttons on a screen while trying to drive or sitting at a light. The automatic volume feature is great for when you have the stereo turned up, window down, etc. The screen is bright and very easy to see at a glance. The split screen that comes up during a freeway exit is nice. I have not tried the bluetooth features.
I have two minor nit-picks. Sometimes, it doesn't alert you to an upcoming turn until you're at/in the intersection. It is rare, but it does happen. (It seems to happen when there are multiple turns less than a mile from each other.) Something to be aware of if you're not sure where you're going. Of course the screen shows the turn, if you glance at it.
The other nit-pick is the voice. My two year old 255WT has a very natural, human sounding voice. I remember being quite impressed with that. The 2595 is much more robotic sounding... seems like a step backwards. I've got used to it and it's not really an issue... but when I fired the 2595 up for the first time after turning my 255 off, I was like Hmmm... what happened there? Overall I'm pretty happy with it and will be keeping it.
What's great about it: Voice commands, large screen, auto volume adjustment.
What's not so great: Slightly robotic sounding voice, not inexpensive by any means.

Yes, it is substantially more expensive than most of the screen covers out there. However, after using it, I'd never buy anything else. It doesn't bubble, it doesn't scratch, and it goes on easily. It was a perfect fit, and the included 'tools' help tremendously. Also, this company stands behind their products 100 percent. Rip it, and they'll send you a replacement... that simple.

My wife and I bought this television after seeing a 4k lg model her daughter had just purchased. I have always loved Samsung products, and consider them to be the best display on any component, so I wanted to go with them. As soon as I set it up, which is a simple process, I noticed that I couldn't seem to get the color settings where I wanted them. The age old problem is present with this tv. If you set to the side of the set, you have a totally different picture than if you are directly in front. Lg has the OLED set, which has different back lighting technology, which prevents this disappointment. Although it is a great picture from the front, your blacks go completely grainy and pixilated from the side. I am happy with the functionality of the set. The smart tv aspects of it work great. To conclude, if I had to do it again, I would go with the OLED set from Lg, or just wait until Samsung decides to step up to this technology. The set is not worth the $3400 price tag we paid!

65" OLED?
December 8, 2014
Kind of apples to oranges comparison. Sure an OLED looks better... but a 65" OLED is also TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS. You're comparing a 3k TV to a 10k, and saying it isn't as good... no kidding.
