Good, but not perfect

-Screen protector fits perfectly, unlike reviews I've seen for PDP's standalone screen protector. Keep this in mind while lining up all sides. The plastic included to smooth out any air bubbles is a worthlessly hard, thin piece of plastic. It will likely cut through the top layer of application-film and damage the screen protector. I would recommend using a credit card, or a rubber one if you happen to have one from ArmorSuit lying around.
I've also seen reviews indicating this bundle, and the standalone screen protector, including a cleaning cloth that deposits more dust than it leaves. I can attest to this. I used canned air to clean out the cloth, and applied the protector while in a very humid room (like a bathroom after taking a shower - keeps the dust and dander down).
All in, not as good as a wet-application screen protector, but a darn fine static cling.
-The thumbcaps are hard plastic. Different kind of traction than the normal rubber ones. I'll be holding onto them, but not likely to use them.
-The joy-con 'grips' are a hard the same plastic as the thumbcaps. While that works fine for the grips, the detail indicated on the packaging is non-existent. This detail has been pressed by a mold into the plastic, and is not dual-toned. Additionally, they're the same thickness as the depth for the R and L buttons, meaning you will be more than likely to hit the plastic bumper than the buttons, until you're used to it.
-The case is sturdy, not hard, but not padded. It will be sufficient for storing everything in, but not for drops. If you're gravity-prone, this is not the best case for you. Otherwise, looks nice, the design is raised rubber on one side, painted on the other. Worried it may tear away with excessive use, but not mad at it, for now. there's a divider that protects the front of the Switch while in transit, with games storage on its opposite side, and a storage pouch that's more than adequate for a spare Motorola USB-C charger.
-Headphones are cheap, dollar-store type, and tinny as heck. Come on, PDP: it's 2017. You can pack in affordable headphones, already.
All in all, this is something that I wouldn't balk at $20, but at $30, it's only a value due to its availability. If you can, spring for the special edition of zelda and a standalone screen protector. If you can't, this isn't a terrible backup plan.
EDIT: Used a bit of silver Rub-N-Buff along with some 99% rubbing alcohol, and a lot of patience to fix what PDP couldn't be bothered with on the Joy-Con Grips. Some matte sealer, and they actually feel a bit better than they did originally.
Also, without the controller protectors on there, there's about a half inch in any direction for the system to jiggle about inside the case. 3/5 star review stands as I already addressed this isn't *THE* case for everyone, but it's a bit disappointing all the same.
My Best Buy number: 2523834131
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can you buy this at the store on March 3rd or in the future? Or this this online only?

Most stores appear out of stock presently.

Do the joy con grips cover the entire controller or just the back?

Everything but the face and triggers of the joy-con.
