This watch is a great way to track runs within the Nike+ ecosystem. I had been using the shoe sensor (and still do for treadmill running). I needed a way to keep tabs on my pace and this watch works better than using a phone.

This box is the best way to consume "Smart" TV. It has apps for all of the main content providers (including Amazon Prime). It runs smoothly, its UI is well designed, and it makes watching easy. Even if you have built-in streaming with your TV or video game system (or even an HTPC like I do) the Roku 3 just works better and is worth the $.

Internet Connectable?No
Bought this for a bedroom TV. At this price and size point, this set is an excellent value. The picture quality is the same as models costing significantly more. My only real disappointment is the limited number of inputs (only 2 HDMI and no PC inputs). I'm connecting a Roku 3 to it anyways, so the lack of "Smart" features is irrelevant.

I upgraded two media center PCs from Windows XP. I went with Win 7 over Win 8 because of Windows Media Center integration (Win 8 requires the pro version to get media center). Media Center is the most convenient means to watch Live TV coming from an HDHomerun tuner on a PC.

Upgraded my home server from XP. I needed the Pro version for a single feature (related to Dynamic Disk support). Win 7 was better suited to my home server purposes than Win 8.

This is the best Android tablet for the price available right now. Its screen is noticeably better than the Samsungs I was comparing it to. After testing at home, I am even more impressed with how well it shows up when using it outside in the daylight. My only gripe is the charging scheme. Proprietary connectors are pretty common for tablets in general, but this one's design in particular really limits your third party options for replacement and travel options.

I deliberately waited until the server issues resolved to rate this game. While those issues play a factor in the overall experience (they did after all fail to give paying customers what they paid for when they paid for it) my score is more a factor of the gameplay itself. It is no secret that the game suffers from a dramatically reduced scope than previous Sim City games. This is a function of their push to make the game "social" which just isn't for me. I found myself wanting to play in long bursts with long stretches of not playing it in between. This just doesn't match how most everyone else was playing, and meant that multiplayer wasn't the best experience for me. I tried playing it single player, managing multiple "cities" at the same time, but it was tiring, and never seemed to work right (It always seemed that for multiple cities to really work together they have to be running at the same time and not just toggled back and forth). Ultimately, the limited city size makes for a very limited single player experience. For more dedicated multiplayer players, I am sure the experience would be better.
