The straight answer is no. The older style units are no longer being manufactured, and while it is possible to find a fat style 40Gb system new in the storer, the hunt is not worth your time as you will not receive the key benefit if the older mikes which is PS2 playback. Also the new systems include 'True HD' audio, which the older units do not support.
If you would like to find a used system, your best bet would be your local game store such as GameStop. Just make sure you ask for the 60Gb model or the 80Gb with 4 USB ports on front ( very important ).
