Purchased the Dell S2715H to replace an old 23" Samsung HD TV/Monitor from several years ago. This is a huge upgrade in both quality and size. The monitor is very good with excellent image detail and crisp images. The IPS panel is good for wide angle viewing.
Only drawbacks are high glare screen and only 1 HDMI port and no Display Port but the fact that it has speakers on board is huge for us since we didn't want to have external speakers cluttering up the desk.

connecting toshiba 40l140U to a stereo receiver
trying to hook up my onkyo tx8020 stereo receiver to my Toshiba 40L1400U led tv. there is a tv analog out from the tv, and a tv input on the stereo receiver (using RCA jacks). Is not producing the sound from tv transmission...am I missing something?
If your receiver has a digital optical input I would use that instead. If not, what type of cable are you using to connect from TV analog out to receiver and where are you connecting it on your receiver?
