I've been juicing heavy for a year now. My juicer was an Atlas centrifugal from 1962. Very loud and violent. I was ready to upgrade and the Kuvings had the best reviews. After using it for two weeks I'm fed up with less yield and pulpy juice. I drink between 1-2 quarts per day and the Kuvings yields about 15-20% less than the old Atlas. The Kuvings is built well and is easy to clean but I don't like throwing my potential juice in the compost pile as wet pulp. I wish I could do over.

Is this bowl lifter model being discontinued? What is the negative to this feature?
I haven't found a negative. Maybe it isn't trendy?? Food network mostly use tilting head models but this model works great
