Does what an am/fm alarm clock is supposed to do. The only negatives are that the clock is very light. When fishing for top buttons, the clock slides all around the nightstand. Also wish for a selectable duration for the snooze alarm. Set up wasn't too difficult, but instructions were a little wanting.

My wifi does not provide enough power to stream movies on VUDO. They start out okay, but start cutting out. I'm trying to watch in HDX; but even cuts out at lower level. Is there anyway I can fix this? My wifi provides enough power for Fire TV.
It really depends on a number of things. After getting chromecast, I experienced some freezing and buffering. I increased my broadband speed from my network (cost more). I incidentally had a bad, outdated modem and had my provider replace it. Still sometimes slows down. I found that too many devices competing for my modem for broadband space can slow everything down too. I've never had a firestick so I can't help you there. I also use an old xbox 360 for an alternative entertainment platform.

Do you get all the cable channels on this devise like HGTV and Disney?
No just selected stations (youtube tv), limited and only fully available in major metropolitan areas. In the Los Angeles area Disney is available as well local channels and primetime sports, fox sports west, USA, SYFY MSNBC and fox news and business, ESPN . You can look up the networks on the Web site. But chromecast has netflix app and other streaming apps and what you can play on your Android device, you can mirror to you tv wirelessly with chromecast.

Not sure how to reset time on my insignia clock radio
Press mem/preset while radio playing is off. Once for the hour, then again for the minutes. Adjust time with the up and down srrows where it reads "tune"

Nine minutes and unfortunately not adjustable

does alarm set go backwards as well as forward to get to desired time?
if i fast forward past desired time, can i press a backwards button to get there insead of going all the way around the clock again?
Yes, there are up amd down arrows to the left of the snooze button
