Disappointing school movie

I was looking forward to seeing this movie since I did not know much about Victoria and Abdul. Victoria was a bored queen and Abdul shined life into her boring life. Many people in the establishment/court wanted to get rid of Adbul. Pacing of the movie was slow and not much happened. Pretty predictable. It is a school movie which you would see once, discuss and then move on. Not recommended unless it is on sale.

A different look at football

1987, NFL is on strike and replacement players come and play football for the pros. Each are solid, but are quirky and have flaws which prevent them from making it to the NFL. The teams bonds together after 4 weeks and the fans start falling in love with them. Very good movie. I would recommend it for your collection

fun trip from Cannes to Paris

a middle aged married woman who want to travel and enjoy the experience, but her husband is too busy to do it. His producer volunteers to take Anne from Cannes to Paris, but must smoke once an hour and eat at the most expensive restaurants. He is well known on his journey, but gets Anne(Diane Lane) to pay for it and promises to reimburse her. She gets her vacation due to the frequent stops and night to stay in a hotel. He is always subtly trying to hit on her, but laughs it off when he gets rebuffed. A good "slice of life" movie where the scenery is the star of the movie. Diane Lane is also wonderful. i recommend this movie
