I spent a long time deciding what to buy. My minimum requirement for a wrist piece was a good activity tracker that offered a few more features than just tracking steps. The rose gold Apple watch with lavender band definitely caught my eye, so I kept coming back to it. I eventually decided that if I was going to spend the money I should go ahead with the Apple watch. I'm very glad that I did.
The activity tracker is very helpful for daily activity. I really like that it 'taps' you with a reminder to stand up if you've been sitting too long, cause you know- desk job. It gives you little encouraging messages as you get closer to move goals and when you meet them.
Other features- Being able to make phone calls and read/send text messages is awesome. Pretty good volume on calls; I haven't changed some of the default text answers yet, but I'd like to because there isn't much variety to match what I would say. The only negative is that it does have trouble picking up words with speak to text- maybe background noise, or it's a slow feature... I usually grab my phone for long messages anyway. Check out the astronomy watch face- this is really neat.
At this point I'm still messing around with the other apps and deciding what I like to use. Battery life does go down about 50% after a day's use, but I'm not stressed about that- I just place it on the pretty cool magnetic charger at night. It does seem to be a little slow to turn on if it's been off. Overall it's a great purchase that I'm happy with. If you are debating, keep in mind it's something you have to commit to and are willing to learn how to use. It is a worthwhile purchase if it's beneficial to your lifestyle. It will also help if the Best Buy rep guides you through some of the features- as soon as I walked up to the table the guy that helped me got sample watches for me to try on and showed me what an Apple watch could do.

I was ready to upgrade from the Xbox 360. I debated for a while and finally went for it. The biggest sell for me was the addition of Tomb Raider/Rise of the Tomb Raider. The games are 5+ stars - love them! Also wanted the ability to play other new game releases. The new console is nice but I want to say...clunky? The downloads and updates are pretty slow, and I do not like the menu redesign - it is messy and feels more complicated than the 360's design.
