Tom Hanks stars as the American attorney tasked with negotiating the release of a U-2 spy plane pilot who was shot down over Russia at the height of the Cold War in this historical, period-piece drama. Fantastic movie!
What a great album. There's not a bad song on it, which is pretty rare these days. I got the Best Buy version with the bonus tracks and they're just as good as the rest. There are other bonus tracks such as Me Hate You on the Japan release and I'll never understand why they don't just do a deluxe CD with all the bonus tracks. Finally, I hope they can keep this lineup for a while, I think the addition of Kiko has added a dimension that was missing on previous albums. He adds some depth/ variety to the tracks, the piano at the end of Poisonous Shadows comes to mind, so kudos to Mustaine for getting him.
This is a great soundtrack but it's different from the other six soundtracks. Something about it just doesn't "hit me" the way the others did. Despite that, it's still a must-own and it's still has a lot of quality music. Four stars, 8 out of 10, etc.

Yes, you know of the excellence of this album so I don't want review the songs and performances, but now it's been remastered from the original analogue source. The sound is improved: there is added definition and dimension. There is nothing I would change about this album. It's a world-beater and was a game-changer for hard rock.
Definitely worth your hard-earned cash. Enjoy! \m/>
It took me a few listens to really "get" this album, but once I did, I discovered that it's brilliant. Period. I believe this is Machine Head's second best album, JUST behind The Blackening. You can just tell they put their hearts and soul into this from start to finish. My hands down favorite track is "Game Over." But, really, pick a song: they all rock hard.
The deluxe packaging is fantastic, as well. Great job with the design and content.
Purchase this album if you're any kind of metal fan. Thank you, Machine Head, for yet another masterpiece!
