It's basically the life of a dog reincarnated through the years and a cross between an animal having a moral compass and telling the life of a dog from a perspective other than a dog.
It has it's tender moments, but none the less is a stretch from reality, it takes the concept of Hindi religion and applies to the animals purpose.
