This film is way too much fun to analyze closely. Yeah, it rips off tons of stuff from the previous films, but when the theft is this expertly executed, I could care less. Seriously groovy film.
I really loved Six Feet Under's first album and have been waiting for them to achieve those lofty heights again. This album doesn't get there either. But it is a solid death metal opus that will surely please the long time fans, and I've found that it's growing on me with repeated listenings. Chris Barnes also gets in touch lyrically with his tender side on tunes like "Compulsion to Brutalize" and "Broken Bottle R*pe." I'm sure an album of Cat Stevens covers is in the works.

I bought this for my daughter who likes to hang around in the bathtub for hours at a time to avoid doing anything constructive. She seems to like it very much. It talks (the speaker, not my daughter), which is a bit disconcerting from a "robots taking over the world" point of view, but again, the sound is very nice.
