Family film, good gift

Inside Out was a multigenerational favorite this year, which is why I bought a hard copy as a gift. The film was excellent, beautiful colors, lots of laughing and some tears. There's nothing particularly outstanding about the DVD features, but if you have less connected family who aren't savvy with streaming, it makes a good gift.

Good songs for a mixed audience

I purchased this soundtrack as a gift for my grandparents, who listen strictly to CDs and fm radio... it makes a great alternative to the music they usually listen to in the car. The soundtrack does a pretty good job of blending classic Peanuts-style instrumentals with more contemporary tracks, but the transitions from one tot he next can feel a bit sudden.
