perhaps specific unit but at half battery it stops

This may be my particular battery and not the entire manufacture lot. However at half battery my EOS 7d simply shuts down with no warning, no quarter battery no warning battery is low. Just half battery and it is done. Cannon original battery is far superior to this unit.

Double the memory I had before

This is twice the memory I had before. It saves on having to replace memory cards but still the film operation of my EOS 7d uses battery much faster. So now the card outlasts the battery four times longer.
