had a budget DAC for a couple of years but the sound quality seemed a bit 'off' . Following the reviews I bought this...WOW what a difference from a generic DAC, the mids and high end detail is astonishing , actuall the whole frequency spectrum is improved especially the highs.Remarkable sound quality from a budget piece, the best audoi purchase for me in a long time
